ABSTRAK

NAMA MAHASISWA (15.023.74.201.001). Rancang Bangun Sistem Informasi

Perpustakaan (Studi Kasus: Perpustakaan Fakultas Teknik Universitas Andi Djemma
Palopo Tahun Akademik 2019/2020). Dibawah bimbingan Apriyanto (pembimbing I) dan
Ahmad Ali Hakam Dani (pembimbing II).

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan memangun sistem informasi

perpustakaan yang berbasis web pada Fakultas Teknik, Universitas Andi Djemma,
Palopo. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah metode kualitatif dengan Teknik
pengumpulan data menggunakan metode wawancara, survei, dokumentasi dan studi
pustaka. Sistem informasi perpustakaan ini dalam perancangannya menggunakan
metode pengembangan UML (Unified Modeling Language) yang terdiri dari use case
diagram, activity diagram, sequence diagram dan class diagram. Perancangan database
logic menggunakan My SQL dan interface sistem. Adapun software yang di gunakan
dalam perancangan dan pengimplementasi sistem menggunakan XAMPP sebagai
webserver, PhpMySQL sebagai database, adobe dreamweaver CS6 sebagai editor desain
web. Sistem informasi perpustakaan berbasis web meliputi penegelolaan data buku,
anggota, peminjaman, dan laporan perpustakaan. Sistem informasi telah diujicobakan
(test case) sehingga diperoleh sistem informasi yang berjalan dengan baik.

Metode belajar yang dikenalkan kepada anak usia dini pada masa
sekarang masih bersifat konvensional atau hanya menyajikan gambar dan
tulisan yang kurang membangkitkan minat anak dalam belajar, maka
dengan adanya aplikasi ini yang isinya tentang materi dasar alat sekolah
proses berhitung dan bahasa inggris gambar.

Game edukasi merupakan sebuah permainan yang telah dirancang untuk

mengajarkan pemainnya tentang topik tertentu, memperluas konsep,
memperkuat pembangunan, memahami sebuah peristiwa, sejarah atau
budaya, atau membantu mereka dalam belajar keterampilan karena
mereka bermain..

Dengan adanya aplikasi ini masyarakat, terutama orang tua dan guru TK
bisa mengajarkan kepada anak-anak mereka untuk lebih menarik dalam
melakukan kegiatan belajar. Karena kesibukan orang tua sekarang ini,
mereka tidak mempunyai banyak waktu untuk membimbing anaknya
menggunakan aplikasi game edukasi ini dengan smartphone android
mereka.
