ANALYSIS OF BEACH PROTECTION BUILDINGS (REVETMENT) WITH QUADRIPOD MATERIAL IN INDAH BEACH NORTH BENGKULU REGENCY ABSTRACT Abrasion is a problem that often occurs in coastline areas. Coastal erosion results in changes to the coastline and surrounding infrastructure such as roads and residential areas being eroded by abrasion. One form of dealing with abrasion is by building beach buildings, in this case beach protection buildings (revetments). The aim of this research is to analyze revetments using quadripod materials and re-planning revetments which can be an alternative solution to existing problems. This research was carried out by analyzing wave height and implementing revetment stability, in the form of revetments from the analysis results with existing revetments at the research location. This research uses numerical analysis methods. Significant wave analysis is carried out using numerical calculations. This research resulted in the largest significant wave occurring in 2018 at 3.26 meters. Revetment stability analysis is carried out by taking into account the hydrostatic forces and moments that occur. Analysis of the stability of the revetment resulted in a revetment with a height of 9.46 meters, a peak width of 2.33 meters and an arm of 2.74 meters. The rolling stability of the revetment building obtained was 15.35 > 1.5 t.m (meeting the requirements) and the shear stability that occurred was 2.76 > 1.5 tons (meeting the requirements). The resulting rolling stability and sliding stability have reached stability control. Analysis of the stability of the existing revetment was also carried out with the resulting rolling stability of 8.41 > 1.5 t.m (meeting the requirements) and shear stability of 1.22 < 1.5 tons (not meeting the requirements). From the results, the stability of the existing revetment and the stability of the planned revetment that have been analyzed have significant differences. This is what requires attention considering that the existing revetment buildings are starting to erode due to current waves that are getting closer to land and residential areas.
