Effect of Diet Nutrition on Blood
Pressure Changes Hemodialysis
Patients in Santosa Hospital in
Bandung
• Nutrition is intake needed by the body

• Diet is the activity of eating food with

arranged ways so as to reach or maintain the
present rate so weight of a body staying well
under control.

• To know about effect of diet nutrition on

blood pressure changes in Hemodialysis
patients admitted to Santosa Hospital
Bandung.

• It is interesting because there are still many

people who don’t know about the diet
nutrients for hemodialysis patients
 What are the effects of diet
nutrients on blood pressure change
of hemodialysis patients?
This research used A
quantitative method
Methods
 50 dialysis patients
consisting of 25 males
and 25 females in
Santosa Hospital
Bandung.
 The research is done
by survey method in
the form of interview.
 RESULTS
The result of this research is that
after interviewing 50 people
80 % of patients who
implemented diet nutrients
experienced a better condition on
blood pressure, on the other hand
the other 20% of patients who did
not implement diet nutrients
experienced an increase in blood
pressure.
 Conclusion

The conclusion of this research is that diet nutrients are very

important for hemodialysis patients because based on the
report of the research, people who implemented diet nutrients
when they were in hemodialysis treatment had a good blood
pressure and experienced a fast healing process compared to
patients who did not implement diet nutrients which resulting in
long healing process.
