Figure 1 shows an investigation on three potted plants. The plants are left in the Sun and not
watered for two weeks.
Rajah 1 menunjukkan satu penyiasatan terhadap tiga tumbuhan di dalam pasu. Tumbuhan
dibiarkan di bawah Matahari dan tidak disiram selama dua minggu.

A group of pupils from 5 Bestari carried out an investigation about the time taken of
pendulum to swing with the different length of string in 20 second.

In investigation, water is allowed to drip from a can with a hole as shown in Diagram 2.
The volume of dripping water is collected in a measuring cylinder and measured every
5 minutes. Table 2 shows the result of the investigation.
Dalam satu penyiasatan, air dibiarkan menitis dari tin yang berlubang satu seperti
ditunjukkan pada Rajah 2. Isipadu air yang menitis dikumpulkan di dalam selinder
penyukat dan disukat setiap 5 minit. Jadual 2 menunjukkan keputusan bagi penyiasatan
itu.

8.

A teacher carried out an experiment to test the limitation of humans in remembering


objects. He uses five students in his experiment. Each student is given two minutes
to remember 20 objects. After that, the objects are covered up with a cloth. Each
student has to list the names of the objects. Table 1 shows the results of the experiment.
Seorang guru telah menjalankan sesuatu eksperimen untuk menguji had keupayaan
manusia mengingat objek-objek. Beliau menggunakan seramai lima orang murid dalam
eksperimen tersebut. Setiap murid diberikan dua minit untuk mengingat 20 objek.
Selepas itu, objek ditutup dengan sehelai kain. Setiap murid dikehendaki menyenaraikan
objek-objek tersebut. Jadual 1 menunjukkan keputusan eksperimen tersebut.

An investigation is carried out to investigate the relationship between the number of vehicles
and the level of air pollution.Table 1 shows the number of vehicles and the average air
pollution level during the period of investigation for four years in City X.
Satu penyiasatan telah dijalankan untuk mengkaji hubungan antara bilangan kenderaan dan
tahap pencemaran.Jadual 1 menunjukkan bilangan kenderaan dan purata tahap pencemaran
udara semasa tempoh penyiasatan dalam masa empat tahun di Bandar X.

11. A group of pupils carried out an investigation to find out if microorganisms can
grow. They sprinkled a piece of bread with a few drops of water. The bread was
left in a plastic bag for three weeks. Figure 1 shows the results obtained.
Sekumpulan murid menjalankan satu penyiasatan untuk mengkaji pertumbuhan
mikroorganism.Mereka merenjis air keatas sekeping roti, kemudian dimasukkan
didalam beg plastik dan dibiarkan selama tiga mingu.Rajah 1 di bawah
menunjukkan keputusan penyiasatan mereka.
