Abstrak
Permasalahandalampenelitianiniadalahrendahnyahasilbelajarmatematika yang
disebabkanolehbeberapafaktordiantaranya yaitu penggunaan model pembelajaran yang
beluminovatifdanvariasisertapenggunaan media pembelajaran yang belum optimal.
The problem of the research is low result of mathematic caused by some factors which are the lack
of innovative teaching media and the usage of learning media which not yet optimal.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan model NHT dibandingkan dengan
model GI dan STAD terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas V SD Gugus R.A. Kartini
Magelang. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu dengan rancangan
nonequaivalent control group design. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SD
Gugus R.A. Kartini Magelang yang berjumlah 162. Sampel berjumlah 102 yaitu siswa kelas
V SDN Tidar 3 (kelas eksperimen I), siswa kelas V SDN Tidar 5 (kelas eksperimen II), dan
siswa kelas V SDN Tidar 7 (kelas kontrol). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata nilai
posttest kelas eksperimen I 81,25 lebih besar dibandingkan kelas eksperimen II 76,72
maupun kelas kontrol 57,70. Hasil uji t menunjukkan nilai t-hitung (3,15 >t-tabel (1,66).
Hasil tersebut memberikan kesimpulan bahwa model NHT paling efektif diterapkan dalam
pembelajaran matematika kelas V SD dibandingkan dengan model GI maupun STAD sebagai
kelas kontrol.
The problem of the research is
The problem of the research was low result of mathematical learning caused by some factors
which were the lack of innovative teaching media and the usage of learning media which not
yet optimal. It was aimed to know the effectiveness of NHT compared with GI and STAD
towards 5th grade students’s mathematics learning outcomes of Gugus R.A. Kartini. The
research was a quasy experimental research design with nonequivalent control group design.
The population were all 5thgrade students of Gugus R.A. Kartini totaled 162 students. The
sampling technique used cluster random sampling. The samples were students of 5thTidar 3
Elementary School ( 1stexperimental class), students of 5thTidar 5 Elementary School ( 2nd
experimental class ), and students of 5thTidar 7 Elementary School ( control class ). The result
showed that the mean value of posttest 1stexperimental class (82,25) which was better than 2nd
experimental class (76,72) and control class (57,70). T-test results showed t-count (3,15) > t-
table (1,66). Based on these result, it could be concluced that the NHT model was the most
effective model to applied in mathematics learning for 5thgrade students than GI and STAD
as control class.
