Dear Mona,

Hi, how are you? I am fine.Let me tell what I have learnt from the Healthy Living
Exhibition.

I learnt that we must eat a balanced diet to keep us strong and healthy. It
is important to eat fruits and vegetables.We must also exercise regularly to
make our muscle strong. We can exercise by cycling, walking or jogging. We
must also get enough sleep to allow our mind and body to rest.

Question 1

Last Monday, Jason was walking home from school. Suddenly, he saw
fire coming from his neighbour’s house.He shouted loudly to alert other
neighbours. Jason’s father heard his shouts and came out of the house. He
told Jason to call the fire brigade while he went to neighbour’s house to help
them.

The fire brigade arrived ten minutes later. The firemen tried to put out
the fire. Out of the blue, they heard a scream. A little girl was trapped in the
house.One of the fireman managed to save the little girl.

The girl’s mother thanked the fireman for saving her daughter.

Question 2

Last Friday, Betty’s school held a singing competition in the school

hall. The hall was decorated with colourful balloons and streamers.

Betty took part in the singing competition. She practised hard for the
competition. On the day of the competition, she went up the stage confidently
and sang a song beautifully. She jumped up with joy when she was annouced
as the winner of the competition.

Betty was as happy as a lark when she received a trophy from her
headmistress.The headmistress congratulated and praised her of her great
voice. Her parents were proud of her too.
