Pengertian Short Message

Short Message berasal dari dua kata yaitu, short berarti pendek,

sedangkan message adalah pesan(Harfiah)
Secara definitif/pengertian:
Suatu pesan yang dikirim oleh pengirim (sender) kepada penerima (receiver) baik melalui media
elektronik, cetak maupun secara mannual.
Bagian-bagian Short message
Umumnya terdiri dari:
1. Sender (pengirim) yaitu orang yang mengirim pesan
2. Content (isi pesan)
3. Receiver (penerima pesan)
Contoh Short Message

For Daddy
I am sorry, I won’t be at home  for dinner. My boss asks me to attend a  spontanious meeting at 5 pm, and

Isi: Pemberitahuan bahwa ibu akan pulang telat karena ada meeting mendadak dan ibu meminta pada
ayah tidak perlu menunggu dan menjemputnya.

Definition of Short Message

Short message is a brief text message sent to or from a mobile phone subscriber through the Short
Message Service (SMS). Pesan merupakan informasi atau pemberitahuan yang dikirimkan seseorang
kepada orang lain baik dengan menuliskannya pada kertas ataupun mengirimnya melalui mobile phone.
Generic Structure of Short Message 
 Receiver
Merupakan tujuan pesan yang akan kita sampaikan, siapa penerima pesan tersebut? Bagian ini penting,
jangan sampai kita salah mengirim pesan.

 Contain/Body
Isi dari pesan yang akan disampaikan. Sesuai dengan namanya short message, maka tulislah pesan dengan
kalimat yang singkat dan jelas.

 Sender 
Siapa pengirim pesan tersebut, bagian ini merupakan ruang bagi sipengirim pesan agar penerima tidak
menganggap pesan anda misterius.
