Dongeng Cinderella mengisahkan tentang seorang gadis yang tinggal


dengan ibu dan dua saudara tirinya.
Setiap hari, ia mendapat perlakuan buruk dan diperlakukan sebagai pelayan di
rumahnya sendiri.
Kisah ini pun menginspirasi banyak sekali penulis dan juga sineas untuk
membuat cerita populer.
Bahkan, kisah yang memiliki akhir bahagia atau kisah seseorang menjadi
bahagia sering disebut sebagai “Cinderella Story.”

Pada zaman dahulu, hiduplah seorang anak perempuan cantik dan manis

diberikan. Suatu hari, sebuah sayembara pesta dansa datang dari istana.
Sang pangeran sedang mencari gadis untuk menjadi pendamping hidup. Ibu dan
dua saudari tirinya sangat antusias untuk datang ke acara tersebut.
“Aku ingin datang ke pesta itu. Aku akan berdansa dengan pangeran,” ujar sang
kakak sulung.
“Hai, jangan mimpi kak. Pangeran pasti akan memilih aku, karena ku lebih cantik
darimu.
Ibu pasti akan bangga dan bahagia jika aku menjadi putri raja,” kata kakak kedua
dengan wajah berseri.
“Ibu pasti akan sangat bahagia, jika diantara kalian berdua bisa menikah dengan
Pangeran dan kita akan menjadi keluarga terpandang,” kata si ibu tiri.
Sayembara pesta dansa juga terdengar oleh Cinderella. Ia pun meminta izin
kepada ibu tirinya untuk ikut hadir ke pesta dansa istana itu.
“Bolehkan aku ikut ke pesta dansa bersama kalian bu?” tanya Cinderella.
Ibu dan dua kakak tirinya tertawa dan memandang Cinderella dengan rendah.
“Hai gadis muda, kau hanya akan menghinaku saat datang ke pesta,” kata ibu tiri.
“Kau benar, bu. Orang-orang hanya akan tertawa melihatmu di sana!” ujar dua
saudara tirinya.
Hari pesta dansa pun tiba. Semua orang di rumah Cinderella sibuk menata
rambut dan mencoba gaun indah untuk pergi ke acara tersebut, kecuali dirinya.
Kedua kakak Cinderella merasa kesulitan untuk mengenakan gaunnya. Padahal
mereka berdua sudah mengurangi makan agar tubuhnya terlihat indah di pesta
dansa tersebut.
Ibu dan dua kakak tiri Cinderella pergi ke pesta dansa. Cinderella masuk ke
dalam kamarnya dan menangis.
Ia sangat ingin datang ke pesta dansa kerajaan itu sama seperti gadis -gadis lain.
Saat Cinderella sedang sedih karena tidak bisa pergi ke pesta dansa, muncullah
seorang peri dari jendela kamarnya.
“Berhentilah menangis anak baik,” ucapnya.
Cinderella merasa terkejut dengan kehadiran ibu peri di kamarnya. Ia pun
menghapus air matanya.
“Aku sangat ingin pergi ke pesta dansa,” katanya sambil menangis.
“Ayo pergi ke taman dan bawakan aku sebuah labu,” jawab ibu peri.
Tanpa memikirikan apapun, Ia membawakan sebuah labu terbaik ke taman dan
memberikannya pada ibu peri.
Semua isi labu dikeluarkan oleh ibu peri hingga menyisakan kulitnya.
Setelah itu, ibu peri memukul sisa kulit labu dengan tongkat sihirnya dan berub ah
menjadi sebuah kereta berlapis emas.
Ibu peri kemudian menyuruh Cinderella untuk membuka tikus yang ada
diperangkap dan menyihirnya menjadi enam kuda yang sia menarik kereta
labunya.
Namun, Cinderella merasa ada yang kurang, yaitu kusir untuk menjalankan
kereta kudanya.
Kemudian ia menemukan sebuah tikus besar dan ibu peri menyulapnya menjadi
seorang kusir.
Setelah itu, ibu peri menyuruh Cinderella untuk mencari enam kadal yang ada di
belakang air mancur.
Kemudian, mereka disihir menjadi enam pria yang akan mengiring kereta kuda
untuk ke pesta dansa.
"Nah, kamu lihat di sini ada kereta yang cocok untuk pergi ke pesta, apakah kamu
tidak senang dengan itu?" tanya ibu peri.
"Oh ya!" dia menangis, "tapi haruskah aku pergi dengan pakaian compang -
camping ini?"
Ibu peri menyentuhnya dengan tongkat sihir, seketika pakaian lusuhnya menjadi
gaun yang indah. Ibu peri juga memberikan sepasang sepatu kaca terbaik di
dunia.
Dengan pakaian yang sangat indah dan kereta kuda, Ia berangkat ke istana
untuk ikut dalam pesta dansa.
Namun, sebelum pergi ibu peri menitip pesan bahwa ia harus meninggalkan pesta
dansa tepat pukul 12 malam.
Kehadiran Cinderella sukses menarik perhatian semua tamu di pesta dansa,
termasuk pangeran.
Dengan tangannya sendiri, Pangeran meminta Cinderella untuk berdansa
bersamanya.
Mereka berdua menari sangat anggun dan sangat serasi. Ibu dan dua
kakak tiri Cinderella sangat iri dengan wanita yang tak dia kenali itu. Mereka
benar-benar sangat kesal melihatnya.
Lalu, suara lonceng tanda tengah malam berbunyi. Cinderella pun bergegas
untuk keluar dari pesta dansa.
Pangeran mencoba menahannya, tetapi ia tetap berlari keluar dan tanpa sadar
meninggalkan sepatu kacanya.
Pangeran yang sangat penasaran dengan gadis cantik di pesta dansa.
Ia kembali melakukan pengumuman bahwa sedang mencari gadis yang memiliki
sepatu kaca dan datang ke pesta dansa.
Satu demi satu rumah didatangi langsung oleh pangeran dan pengawalnya, tetapi
tidak ada yang cocok dengan sepatu yang ia bawa.
Sampai akhirnya, saat berada di rumah Cinderella, sang pangeran berkata.
“Apakah tidak ada gadis lain di sini?” tanya Pangeran.
“Tidak ada, hanya ada dua putriku ini,” jawab sang ibu tiri.
“Baiklah, kalau begitu aku akan mencari ke tempat lain,” ujar pangeran.
Saat Pangeran dan dua pengawalnya keluar, tiba-tiba ia melihat seorang gadis
dari jendela.
Kemudian, ia mengatakan hal itu kepada si Ibu Tiri dan akhirnya ia membiarkan
Cinderella keluar dari kamarnya.
Pangeran sangat terkejut, karena sepatu kaca yang ia bawa sangat pas dengan
Cinderella. Kemudian, Cinderella mengeluarkan sepatu yang ia miliki.
Sesuai janjinya, Pangeran menikahi gadis pemilih sepatu kaca dan
menjadikannya sebagai putri di kerajaan miliknya. Cinderella pun hidup bahagia
selamanya.

Cinderella's mother and two stepsisters went to the ball. Cinderella went into her
room and cried.
She wanted to come to the royal ball just like the other girls.
When Cinderella was sad because she couldn't go to the dance, a fairy appeared
from her bedroom window.
"Stop crying good boy," he said.
Cinderella was surprised by the presence of the fairy godmother in her room. He
also wiped his tears.
“I really want to go to the dance,” she said through tears.
"Come on, go to the garden and bring me a pumpkin," answered the fairy
godmother.
Without thinking anything, he brought a best pumpkin to the garden and gave it to
the fairy godmother.

The fairy godmother then told Cinderella to open the mice that were trapped and
conjured them into six horses that pulled the pumpkin carriage.
However, Cinderella felt something was missing, namely the coachman to run the
carriage.
Then he found a big mouse and the fairy godmother turned him into a coac hman.
After that, the fairy godmother told Cinderella to look for the six lizards behind the
fountain.
Then, they are enchanted to become six men who will accompany the horse -
drawn carriage to the dance.
"Now then, you see here is a carriage suitable for going to parties, aren't you
happy with that?" asked the fairy godmother.
"Oh yes!" she cried, "but shall I go in these rags?"
The fairy godmother touched her with her magic wand, and instantly her shabby
clothes became a beautiful dress. The fairy godmother also gave her a pair of the
best glass slipper in the world.
With very beautiful clothes and horse-drawn carriage, She went to the palace to
participate in the ball.
However, before leaving the fairy godmother left a message that she had to leave
the dance at exactly 12 at night.
Cinderella's presence succeeded in attracting the attention of all the guests at the
ball, including the prince.
With his own hands, the Prince asked Cinderella to dance with him.
They both danced very gracefully and perfectly matched. Cinderella's mother and
two stepsisters were very jealous of the woman she did not recognize. They were
really very upset to see him.
Then, the sound of the midnight bell rang. Cinderella rushed to get out of the
dance.
The prince tried to restrain her, but she still ran out and unknowingly left her glass
slipper.

glass slipper and was coming to the dance.

"Okay, then I'll look elsewhere," said the prince.
When the Prince and his two bodyguards came out, suddenly he saw a girl from
the window.
Then, she said that to the Stepmother and finally she let Cinderella out of her
room.
The prince was very surprised, because the glass slipper he brought fit Cinderella
perfectly. Then, Cinderella took out the shoes she had.
As promised, the Prince married a glass slipper girl and made her a princess in
his kingdom. Cinderella lived happily ever after.
The Moral Message of Cinderella's Fairy Tale
This Cinderella fairy tale has a very good moral message.
Through this story, children will learn that patience and kindness will give
beautiful results.
