Quantitative Assessment: Computed upper exception rate (CUER) → batas atas tingkat
pengecualian populasi yang mungkin; tingkat pengecualian tertinggi dalam populasi di ARO
tertentu. Jika CUER melebihi TER, maka auditor akan menyimpulkan bahwa populasi tidak
dapat diterima.
Anomaly (isolated error) → pengecualian atau salah saji yang tidak mewakili populasi
secara keseluruhan. Anomali tersebut, melakukan prosedur audit tambahan, dengan tujuan
memverifikasi bahwa anomali tersebut benar-benar berbeda dan tidak mewakili populasi
untuk sisa tahun tersebut. CUER lebih kecil dari TER, maka auditor dapat menyimpulkan
bahwa pengendalian tersebut efektif.
Quantitative Evaluation → the auditor generalizes from the sample to the population by (1)
projecting the known misstatements from the sample results to the overall population and (2)
considering sampling error and sampling risk (ARIA).
Request Client to Correct Known Misstatements → Penting untuk dicatat bahwa, tidak
seperti dengan pengujian pengendalian, bahkan jika jumlah kemungkinan salah saji tidak
dipertimbangkan material, auditor harus menunggu untuk membuat evaluasi akhir ketika
seluruh audit selesai lengkap.
Qualitative Assessment → Evaluasi sifat dan penyebab dari setiap salah saji yang
ditemukan dalam pengujian rincian saldo merupakan langkah penting dalam proses sampling.
Bagian penting dari analisis ini adalah untuk memutuskan apakah diperlukan modifikasi pada
model risiko audit
Perbedaan utama antara penggunaan ADA dan pengambilan sampel yang representatif
adalah perbedaan dalam cara item yang akan diuji dipilih. Kedua pendekatan dimulai dengan
seluruh populasi, tetapi ADA menguji atau memeriksa setiap transaksi dan auditor kemudian
memeriksa item-item yang merupakan pengecualian atau penyimpangan kontrol. namun,
auditor sering menggunakan ADA dan pengambilan sampel secara bersamaan.
