This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of the Head of Section
Evaluation on Employee Work Effectiveness in Public Regional Companies
(PERUMDA) Bandung City which is based on the main problem, namely, the lack
of employee effectiveness, this is indicated by the quality of employee work that is
not optimal in Public Regional Companies (PERUMDA) City of Bandung.
The method used in this research is descriptive with a qualitative approach. The
descriptive research method was chosen because the researcher wanted to
describe the conditions observed in the field in a more specific, transparent and
in-depth manner. The population in this study was 105 with a total sample of 52
people using the accidental sampling technique.
The results showed that the X variable (Evaluation) had a total score of 2484 with
an average percentage of 73.46%, while the Y variable (Effectiveness) had a total
score of 1749 with an average percentage of 74.74%. The total Pearson
correlation value is 0.572 (has a fairly strong relationship) with the results of the
hypothesis test t-count 3.858 > t-table 1.675 which concludes that Ha is accepted
where the hypothesis "The Influence of Head of Section Evaluation on Employee
Work Effectiveness in Public Regional Companies (PERUMDA) Bandung City"
can be accepted as true.
The magnitude of the influence of the leadership evaluation on employee work
effectiveness is equal to 32.72% while the remaining 67.28% is another factor
that was not examined by researchers.
