Kata Ganti Nama Diri: (Pronouns)

• Apabila kata ganti nama diri digunakan di hadapan klausa

atau ayat, maka ia akan berfungsi sebagai sebuah subjek.
(When the pronouns are used in front of a clause or a
sentence, then it functions as a subject.)
Kata Ganti Nama Diri:

Saya suka makan epal.

(I like to eat apple.)
Kata Ganti Nama Diri: (Pronouns)

• Apabila kata ganti nama diri digunakan di belakang klausa atau ayat,
maka ia akan berfungsi sebagai satu tanda untuk menunjukkan
kepunyaan.
(When the pronouns are used at the back of a clause or a
sentence, then it functions as a tool to show ownership.)
Kata Ganti Nama Diri:

Kekecualian:
(Exception/Special Case)

Kata Ganti Nama ‘dia’ hanya boleh digunakan sebagai

subjek di hadapan ayat.

Contoh:
Dia suka pergi ke sekolah.
Kekecualian:
(Exception/Special Case)

The pronoun ‘dia’ can only be used as a subject at the

front of the sentence.

Example:
Dia suka pergi ke sekolah.
(He/she likes to go to school.)
Kekecualian:
(Exception/Special Case)

Pronoun ‘-nya’ can only be used at the back of

an object.

English Translation: His / her / its

Example:
Puan Maria memarahi anaknya.
(Mdm Maria scolded her child.)

• Gunakan kata ganti nama diri yang pelbagai untuk
membentuk ayat atau frasa yang tepat. Bagi setiap kata
ganti nama, bina dua ayat. Ayat pertama untuk
menggunakan kata ganti nama sebagai subjek, dan ayat
kedua untuk menggunakan kata ganti nama di belakang
sebuah objek.
(Use the different types of pronouns to form a sentence or
phrases accurately. Construct 2 sentences for each
pronoun. The first sentence is to use the pronoun as a
subject, and the second sentence is to use it behind an
object.
