2. Beralih ke Data View lalu Copy Paste

data dari Excel ke SPSS, maka akan
seperti gambar dibawah ini.

5. Maka akan muncul tabel ouput yang

disebut dengan Validasi.

3. Klik Analyze – Correlate – Bivariate.

6. Kembali ke Data View, lalu klik 9. Jika sudah klik OK, maka akan keluar
Analyze – Scale – Reliability Analysis table output seperti gambar dibawah
seperti gambar yang tertera dibawah. yang disebut dengan Reliabilitas.

7. Pindahkan semua butir pertanyaan

(Kecuali Total) ke sebelah kanan, maka
tampilannya akan seperti gambar.

Uji Validitas Variabel Motivasi (X1)

Jika koefisien antara item dengan total item sama atau di atas 0,3, maka item tersebut
dinyatakan valid, tetapi jika nilai korelasinya dibawah 0,3, maka item tersebut dinyatakan tidak
valid. Distribusi (tabel r) pada taraf signifikansi 5% dan derajat kebebasan (dk = n - 2), kriteria
pengujian adalah sebagai berikut:
1. Jika r hitung > r tabel maka instrumen atau item item pertanyaan berkorelasi signifikan
terhadap skor total (dinyatakan valid).
2. Jika r hitung < r tabel maka instrumen atau item-item pertanyaan tidak berkorelasi
signifikan terhadap skor total (dinyatakan tidak valid).
Berdasarkan hasil output pada table diatas menyatakan bahwa dari 35 responden Variable
Brand Image dengan 10 butir pertanyaan dinyatakan bahwa semua item valid dengan
pertimbangan sebagai berikut :

Uji Reliabilitas Motivasi (X1)

Berdasarkan data pada output Reliabilitas statistic, diperoleh nilai Cronbach Alpha 0,887 > dari
0,7. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa butir butir pertanyaan yang merupakan dimensi Variable Brand
Image adalah Reliabel.
Pada table item total statistic, kolom Corrected Item-Total Correlation juga dapat menunjukan
validitas butir pertanyaan, dimana nilai Corrected Item-Total Correlation untuk semua butir
pertanyaan > dari 0,4. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa semua butir pertanyaan tersebut valid.

Uji Reliabilitas Kepuasan Kerja (X2)

Berdasarkan data pada output Reliabilitas statistic, diperoleh nilai Cronbach Alpha 0,806 > dari
0,7. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa butir butir pertanyaan yang merupakan dimensi Variable Brand
Image adalah Reliabel.
Pada table item total statistic, kolom Corrected Item-Total Correlation juga dapat menunjukan
validitas butir pertanyaan, dimana nilai Corrected Item-Total Correlation untuk K1, K3, K4,
K7, K8, K9, K10 > dari 0,4 yang artinya valid, sedangkan untuk K2, K5, K6 < dari 0,4 artinya
tidak valid.

Uji Reliabilitas Kinerja Karyawan (Y)

Berdasarkan data pada output Reliabilitas statistic, diperoleh nilai Cronbach Alpha 0,937 > dari
0,7. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa butir butir pertanyaan yang merupakan dimensi Variable Brand
Image adalah Reliabel.
Pada table item total statistic, kolom Corrected Item-Total Correlation juga dapat menunjukan
validitas butir pertanyaan, dimana nilai Corrected Item-Total Correlation untuk semua butir

7. Pindahkan semua butir pertanyaan 9. Jika sudah klik OK, maka akan keluar
(Kecuali Total) ke sebelah kanan, maka table output seperti gambar dibawah

dinyatakan valid, tetapi jika nilai korelasinya dibawah 0,3, maka item tersebut dinyatakan tidak
valid. Distribusi (tabel r) pada taraf signifikansi 5% dan derajat kebebasan (dk = n - 2), kriteria
pengujian adalah sebagai berikut:
1. Jika r hitung > r tabel maka instrumen atau item item pertanyaan berkorelasi signifikan
terhadap skor total (dinyatakan valid).
2. Jika r hitung < r tabel maka instrumen atau item-item pertanyaan tidak berkorelasi
signifikan terhadap skor total (dinyatakan tidak valid).
Berdasarkan hasil output pada table diatas menyatakan bahwa dari 52 responden Variable
