Tumbuhan yang dapat diisolasi

menggunakan teknik hydrodifussion


Penggunaan teknik hidrodifusi dibandingkan dengan metode
konvensional lain memberikan hasil isolasi yang baik, seaktu isolasi lebih
singkat, aktivitas antimikroba lebih bagus, ramah lingkungan, hemat biaya dan
energi, serta mengisolasi lebih baik sehingga aroma natural minyak lebih baik.
(Bousbia, et al, 2009) Tanaman yang biasa diisolasi minyak atsirinya
menggunakan teknik ini adalah;

1. Minyak essensial dari kulit jeruk


(Citrus sp Famili Rutaceae)
(Bousbia, et al, 2009)

2. Kulit jeruk lemon Citrus limon (Lisbon variety), didapatkan hasil


yield yang lebih baik serta aktivitas antioksidan lebih baik dari
pada isolasi minyak essensial dengan metode hidrodestilasi
karena teknik hidrodifusi tidak cenderung mengubah
komponen dari minyak essensial. (Golmakani dan Moayyedi,
2015)
3. Minyak Rosemary
