Komplikasi
Komplikasi yang paling ditakutkan adalah terjadi hilangnya penglihatan,
yang dapat disebabkan karena tekanan intraorbita yang terlalu tinggi dengan
disertai retraksi bola mata. Kejadian perdarahan dapat terjadi saat maupun
setelah operasi yang akan menekan nervus optikus dan menyebabkanoklusi
arteri retina sentral. Perdarahan dapat terjadi akibat robekan pada arteri
ethmoidalis anterior atau posterior. Komplikasi lainnya yang dapat terjadi
seperti perforasi bola mata, diplopia, ptosis dan paresthesia.
