KADAR:
Menunjukkan dua kuantiti yang berbeza unit
berhubung antara satu sama lain.
Kadar ialah kes khas nisbah yang
melibatkan dua kuantiti yang berbeza unit.
Contohnya :
1. Nisbah 285 km / 3 jam , kita
membandingkan jarak yang dilalui dalam km
dengan masa yang diambil dalam jam.

Cara menulis kadar:
Nyatakan
  kadar dan dua kuantiti (termasuk unit) bagi ukuran yang terlibat dalam
setiap
situasi berikut.
(a) Fatin membeli 2 kg mangga dengan harga RM10.
Jawapan: Dua kuantiti yang terlibat jisim (kg) dan jumlah wang (RM)

(b) Sebuah kereta menggunakan 1 liter petrol untuk perjalanan sejauh 12 km.
