Pendahuluan

Etika adalah perilaku berstandar normatif berupa nilai-nilai

moral, norma-norma, dan halhal yang baik. Jadi etika
merupakan sebuah standar seseorang untuk berperilaku
dalam sebuah lingkungan. Seseorang yang melanggar suatu
norma atau nilai moral yang dipercaya bisa dikatakan tidak
beretika, dan hal ini tidak baik untuk seorang teladan atau
pemimpin.
Seorang pemimpin yang baik haruslah pemimpin yang
beretika, yang memiliki moral dan mematuhi norma-norma
yang ada. Seorang pemimpin adalah cerminan dan teladan
bagi bawahan maupun karyawan dalam sebuah organisasi.
Etika seorang pemimpin akan mempengaruhi bagaimana
sikap dan perilaku karyawan dalam sebuah organisasi.

utama yang harus dimiliki
seorang pemimpin agar
kepemimpinannya dapat
efektif dan efisien untuk
mencapai tujuan yang telah
ditentukan sesuai norma
dan nilai yang berlaku.

Prinsip Etika Pemimpin

Prinsip etika pemimpin antara lain adalah :

• Menjaga perasaan orang lain,
• Memecahan masalah dengan rendah hati
• Menghindari pemaksaan kehendak tetapi menghargai pendapat orang lain,
• Mengutamakan proses dialogis (terbuka/komunikatif) dalam memecahkan masalah
• Menanggapi suatu masalah dengan cepat, dan sesuai dengan keahlian
• Menyadari kesalahan dan berusaha untuk memperbaiki serta mengedepankan sikap
jujur,disiplin, dan dapat dipercaya.
