Pengertian TAP

Tugas Akhir Program (TAP) adalah tugas yang harus dikerjakan mahasiswa program sarjana
(S1) yang sudah memenuhi persyaratan baik administrasi maupun akademik. TAP
merupakan serangkaian tugas berbentuk permasalahan, kasus-kasus, atau pertanyaan yang
diangkat dari masalah nyata pembelajaran bidang studi/bidang pengembangan yang harus
dipecahkan oleh guru.

Tujuan TAP

TAP bertujuan untuk mengukur penguasaan kompetensi akhir mahasiswa, melalui ujian
yang menuntut mahasiswa mengaplikasikan pengetahuan, sikap, dan keterampilan yang
diperolehnya dari berbagai mata kuliah dalam memecahkan masalah-masalah pembelajaran

1. Menuntut Kemampuan Berpikir Tingkat Tinggi, Soal TAP tidak menguji jenjang berpikir
yang bersifat ingatan atau hafalan, melainkan menguji kemampuan mahasiswa di
antaranya dalam menerapkan suatu konsep atau teori untuk memecahkan masalah-masalah
yang terdapat dalam kasus, menganalisis penyebab suatu masalah, dan menyintesis
informasi sehingga membentuk kesatuan baru yang utuh atau memberikan evaluasi atas
suatu kasus.
2. Substansi TAP Bersifat Problematik, Menyeluruh, dan TerbukaTerarah Soal yang bersifat
problematik ialah soal-soal yang memuat permasalahan dan hanya dapat dijawab bila
mahasiswa menguasai konsep-konsep bidang ilmu, keguruan kependidikan, kepribadian
dan keprofesionalan secara memadai. Menyeluruh artinya jawaban yang diminta menuntut
kemampuan mahasiswa untuk mengaitkan unsur-unsur keilmuan dari berbagai mata kuliah
secara terpadu dengan fenomena atau situasi nyata dalam pembelajaran. Terbuka-terarah
