Energi Panas Bumi
Energi panas bumi adalah energi panas yang tersimpan di bawah
permukaan bumi dan fluida yang terkandung didalamnya. Energi
panas bumi didapat dari panas yang berasal dari dalam bumi. Suhu
lapisan bumi bertambah tiga derajat celcius setiap bertambah
kedalaman seratus meter. Hal ini terjadi karena pada inti bumi
terdapat magma yang memiliki temperatur sekitar seribu celcius
Potensi Energi Panas Bumi di
Indonesia
Indonesia merupakan negara terbesar di dunia

yang memiliki sumber energi panas bumi, yaitu 40%
dari persediaan energi panas bumi di bumi atau
sekitar 27000 MW. Jumlah energi panas bumi yang
besar di Indonesia dikarenakan Indonesia berada di
wilayah cincin api atau Ring of Fire.
Indonesia terletak di pertemuan 3 lempeng tektonik
yaitu lempeng pasifik, Indo-Australia, dan eurasia
yang menyebabkan seringnya terjadi pergesekan
antar lempeng yane menyebabkan beberapa
fenomena alam seperti gempa, letusan gunung
berapi, tsunami, dll. Faktor tersebut juga yang
menyebabkan Indonesia memiliki sumber energi
panas bumi terbesar di dunia.

dibutuhkan dalam proses pengeringan, pengawetan, sterilisasi,
pasteurisasi, dan pemanasan.
- Pemanfaatan dalam bidang perikanan, yaitu untuk penetasan telur
ikan dan pengeringan ikan
- Untuk pemandian air hangat
- Budidaya jamur merang
- Untuk bidang peternakan. Energi panas bumi digunakan untuk
pemanasan ruangan dan tanah pada rumah kaca
