The first stage of the research is data collection that is primary data
and secondary data. The second stage is design an alternatives to improve the
service levels. For the next stage is analysis phase, which is to evaluate any
alternative if the data increase the level of service. The final stage is to propose
the best aternative to be accepted and accepted by the relevant institution.
After passing through several stages of analysis, then get the best
alternative which will propose, there is alternatives setting for 2 phase . In setting
of 2-phase generate queue length, delay and service level for each approach is 56
m 18.9det / smp, and service level C for the approach of A; 40m, 20.0d / smp,
and service level C for approach B- ; 20 m, 11,6det / smp and service level B for
approach C; 41 m, 21,8det / smp, and service level C for approach D.

Development in palangka raya city continues to increase. Along with that, the
needs of accommodation supporting is also increasing. Traffic light, is one of
the supporting accomodations and help for the on going transportation activity.
On the small roundabout in Palangka Raya City often occurs conflict between
vehicles that happens because the small roundabout of Palangka Raya City is an
accident prone area. Related to the management of traffic in controlling the
small roundabout of Palangka Raya City, therefore a traffic setting is made.
How ever with the high delays, it is predicted that the effectivity of traffic light
on the small roundabout of palangka raya city is not optimalized yet, therefore it
is considered to be further reviewed.
