PENGANTAR

Assalamu’alaykum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh…..


Segala puji hanya milik Rabb semesta alam, Allah SWT. Shalawat dan salam
semoga selalu tercurah kepada teladan terbaik, Rasulullah SAW, keluarga dan para
sahabat serta pengikutnya hingga akhir zaman.
Daurah bahasa dilaksanakan sesuai dengan visi SMPIT AT-TAKWIN yaitu
menjadi SMP islam terpadu yang unggul dalam menyiapkan kader bangsa yang
sholeh, cerdas dan cendekia sehingga dihasilkan lulusan yang memiliki kemampuan
menggunakan bahasa lokal, Nasional dan Internasional.
“Barangsiapa mempelajari bahasa suatu bangsa, maka ia akan selamat dari tipu
daya mereka. ”(Buku Ketika Nabi di Kota; Dr. Nizar Abazhah). Mempelajari bahasa
menjadi bagian dalam proses menuntut ilmu. Maka berbahagialah bagi para penuntut
ilmu karena ia dikaruniakan berbagai keutamaan. Salah satunya,”Barang siapa yang
menempuh perjalanan untuk mencari ilmu, maka akan Allah mudahkan jalannya
menuju syurga. “(HR. Muslim)
Tidak ada mawar yang tak berduri, tidak ada kesempurnaan dalam kefanaan.
Semoga modul pembiasaan bahasa ini dapat berkontribusi dalam pengembangan
berkomunikasi bagi siswa maupun guru.

Sebuah Pengantar untuk Pembiasaan Bahasa Inggris

“ Selain buku, bahasa pun bisa menjadi jendela dunia. Ada sebuah kabar dimana
Rasulullah SAW. memerintahkan Zaid bin Tsabit untuk mempelajari bahasa yahudi
agar ia bisa menjadi mediator terpercaya antara Rasulullah SAW. dengan orang
yahudi ketika sedang berdialog. Ustadzah memiliki sebuah cita-cita untuk bisa ke
Eropa, tak sekedar untuk menjelajahi belahan bumi disatu sisi tetapi untuk menjadi
agen islam yang baik. Sebuah cita-cita untuk menjadi Zaid bin Tsabit masa kini,
bukan dengan bahasa yahudi tetapi dengan menguasai bahasa inggris.

Day 1st
Theme : School Life

My School
My school is a green and beautiful school. There are so many large trees which make the
air around my school become very fresh and clean. Overall, it has 13 buildings consisting
of 5 classrooms, a teacher room, a Science Laboratory, 4 toilets, a library and a Mosque.
Those buildings are arranged to form a letter L and there are a field as a sports place and
ceremony in the left side.

When enter my school, we are greeted by billboards that written “Welcome to the SIT At
Takwin, Sekolah peradaban kita”. Beside the gates, there is a security post. The security
post is guarded by two securities. They are in charge of maintaining security in my school.
Beside the security post there is a Primary School’s library.

After passing through the security post, we will pass a parking area. The parking area can
accommodate all vehicles belonging to teachers and students. Every morning the entire
vehicles are parked well there. After passing through the parking area, we’ll see the main
building of my school. The building is quite large. It serves as teacher and employees’
room in my school. Every morning the teachers always lined up in front of this building to
welcome their students. We always greet them before entering into classroom. It has
become a tradition in my school to honor our teachers. We consider our teacher as our
parents in school who keep and educate us.

After passing through the parking area, we will pass a ceremony field. And then, we will
go into a main building. On the right side, there is a Science Laboratory, while on the left
side, there are a classes for 1st and 2nd grade, and toilets. Next, in the second floor, there
are a class for 3rd grade and a teacher room. In front of every classroom there are small
flower gardens which add the beauty of my school. The gardens are regularly used by
students as a place to play and learn.

S: Sir It is the bus which makes me late.
T: What time do you leave home?
S: I always leave home at quarter to seven.
T: How far is your home from here?
S: It is about three kilometers from here.
T: That is why, you get late. You leave your home very late.
S: Sir, I take my breakfast at 6:30 a.m.
T: What time do you get up?
S: I get up at about 6:00 a.m.
T: Don't you offer your prayer?
S: Not regularly.
T: My dear. It is a bad habit. Change your routine. Always get up early in the morning. Offer
your prayers and go for a morning walk.
S: Sir, there is no park near our home.
T: No problem. You can walk along the street in the morning time. Take breakfast at right time
and then leave for school.
S: You are right, sir. From tomorrow, I shall never be late.
T: Good. One thing more keep in mind. Regularity and punctuality conquer the mountains.
A: Thank you very much for your good advice. Can I sit now, sir?
T: Oh Yes, of course.

Theme : Human Body

The Human Body

The human body consists of a bony skeleton and muscles. The three main parts of the body are: the
head, the trunk and the limbs (extremities).The head is composed of the cranial and facial parts. It
contains the brain, the centre of the nervous system. The cranium is partly covered with hair. The
parts of the face are the forehead, the temples, the ears, the eyes with eyebrows, the cheeks, the
nose, the jaw, the mouth and the chin. The main parts of the mouth are lips, the tongue, the teeth,
the palate and the gums. The eyes are protected by eyelids and eyelashes. The eyes are the organs
of sight. The nose of smell, and the ears are the organs of hearing. The nerves of the skin are organs
of touch. The five senses are: sight, hearing, smell, taste and touch.
The head is attached to the trunk by the neck.The trunk includes the chest (in front), the back, the
shoulders and the abdomen. The internal organs which we cannot see, are the heart, the lungs, the
stomach, the liver with the gall-bladder, the pancreas, the spleen, the kidneys and the small and
large intestines (bowels).
The arms and legs are called the limbs. The upper extremity (arm) consists of the upper arm, the
elbow, the forearm, the wrist and the hand with four fingers and one thumb. The inner side of the
hand is called the palm. The finger nails protect the finger tips.
The lower extremity (leg) is attached to the pelvic girdle. It is composed of the thigh, the knee with
patella, the shin, the calf, the ankle and the foot. Each foot has a heel, a sole and five toes.
The movement of the body is produced by the expansion and contraction of the muscles. The
muscles are connected with the bones by sinews, the bones are bound together by ligaments.
Organs of the body are positioned within spaces called cavities. There are these cavities in the
human body: cranial, spinal, thoracic, abdominal and pelvic.

My Holiday Experience in Yogjakarta

Last week, I with my family went to Yogyakarta for holiday. We visited many places there. First,
we visited Prambanan Temple. Prambanan temple was a beautiful temple. We took some photos
there. After that, we went to Gembira Loka zoo. We saw many kinds of animals there such as tiger,
snakes collection, butterfly collections, etc. We looked around in that Zoo, and also took pictures of
those animals. After from gembira loka zoo we went to Sahid raya hotel to take a rest. Sahid raya
was a famous hotel in jogjakarta, the facilities made me comfortable during I stayed there.

In the next day, we went to Parang Tritis beach. Parang Tritis beach was very beautiful. I played
the white sands. Parang Tritis beach was in Kulon Progo, about 45 minutes from the center of
Yogjakarta. I played for some hours until I felt tired and decided to go back to our car. After
that, We went to malioboro to buy some souvenirs. Malioboro was about 30 minutes from Sahid
Raya hotel. Malioboro is a busy street, there were many sellers who sold many kinds of souvenirs.
For me, that was a good moment because I could spend my time with my family. We really
enjoyed it.
