MIXING

Merupakan salah satu proses penting dalam


pengolahan pangan
Pada proses pencampuran diperlukan gaya
mekanik untuk menggerakkan bahan-bahan
sehingga bahan menjadi homogen.
Gaya mekanik diperoleh sebagai akibat
adanya aliran bahan ataupun dihasilkan oleh
alat pencampur.

MIXING

Menghasilkan campuran bahan dengan komposisi


tertentu dan homogen
Mempertahankan kondisi campuran selama
proses kimia dan fisika agar tetap homogen
Mempunyai luas permukaan kontak antar
komponen yang besar
Menghilangkan perbedaan konsentrasi dan
perbedaan suhu, mempertukarkan panas
Mengeluarkan secara merata gas-gas dan uap-
uap yang timbul.
Menghasilkan bahan setengah jadi agar mudah
diolah pada proses selanjutnya, atau
menghasilkan produk akhir (produk komersial)
yang baik

Mensuspensikan bahan/partikel padat


Menggabungkan bahan-bahan cair yang dapat saling
bercampur
Mendispersikan gas dalam bentuk gelembung gas
halus
Mendispersikan bahan cair lain yang tidak dapat
bercampur
Meningkatkan pindah panas antara bahan cair dan
penukar panas
Dalam suatu proses pengadukan, beberapa tujuan
tersebut diatas dicapai secara sekaligus.

jatuhkan dan menggelindingkan bahan

1. The mixing barrel and blades are made of

Feature:
ROTARY CONE MIXER 1. This machine can mix all powder of

This Mixer is applicable for mixing powdery or


granular materials in pharmaceutical and other
industries.
It consists of two V-Type cylinders of
MIXER TIPE V different altitudes, and through mechanical
transmission, the materials in these cylinders
are made to move back and forth and turn over
again and again, thereby achieving the goal of
uniform mixing.
This Mixer has the following
distinguishing features, no blind angle in the
cylinders, no accumulation of materials, high
speed, and short mixing time. With the body
made of stainless steel and both inner and outer
walls polished, the cylinders have elegant
appearance the charging of materials can be
made either by manual operation or through
vacuum suction. For discharging, rotating valves
and rapid swivel heads are adopted.

EDGE RUNNER / MIXER


MULLER For mixing of foundry chemicals,
pastes,moulding sand, foundry
fluxes, food colours etc where an
amount of binder or aggalomerate
is to be blended into the material.
Also used for densification of the
mix. The pan is stationary inside
which rotate heavy duty mullers /
rollers . The heavy wide rollers
ride over the material where
intensive crushing, shearing and
mixing action takes place.
Scrappers and ploughs are
provided for directing the mass
into the path of the rollers.The
machine is also available with
granite rolls and pan.

FRIGMA MIXER
For low energy blending of a wide
range of dry and semi wet
materials used in chemical,
pharmaceutical, food and allied
industries. The mixer consists of
an orbiting helical screw rotating
on its axis in a conical vessel.
The material is carried upwards
as well as rotated around the
conical vessel. Reversing the
direction of the screw aids
discharge of material. Capacities
are available from 100 kgs to
2000 kgs with various optional
attachments.

DISTILASI

Distilasi (penyulingan):
proses pemisahan komponen dari suatu
campuran yang berupa larutan cair-cair
dimana karakteristik dari campuran tersebut
adalah mampu-campur dan mudah
menguap, selain itu komponen-komponen
tersebut mempunyai perbedaan tekanan
uap.
Adanya perbedaan tekanan uap proses
penyulingan merupakan proses pemisahan
komponen-komponennya berdasarkan
perbedaan titik didihnya.

ESTRAKSI

Ekstraksi: pemisahan suatu zat dari


campurannya dengan pembagian sebuah zat
terlarut antara dua pelarut yang tidak dapat
tercampur untuk mengambil zat terlarut
tersebut dari satu pelarut ke pelarut yang lain

Biasanya untuk emisahan bahan alam yang


komponennya bercampur sangat erat, peka
terhadap panas, perbedaan sifat fisikanya
terlalu kecil, atau tersedia dalam konsetrasi
sangat rendah.

KRISTALISASI

Kristalisasi larutan gula pekat menjadi kristal


sukrosa
Prinsip: sirup gula dipekatkan hingga
konsentrasi padatan mencapai lewat jenuh
Alat dan Mesin :
1. Pan Evaporator : meningkatkan
konsentrasi sukrosa hingga lewat jenuh,
dan memperbesar inti kristal sukrosa yang
terbentuk
2. Palung Pendingin : mempercepat proses
pembesaran kristal dengan menurunkan
suhu nira pekat
