 CAUSE AND EFFECT

A. definisi cause dan effect

Cause and effect teks adalah jenis paragraf yang berisi analisa penulis tentang
sebab dan akibat. Paragraf ini diawali dengan sebab – sebab yang dijabarkan di awal
kalimat dan kemudian ditarik menjadi satu kesimpulan umum yang merupakan akibat
dari penyebab – peyebab yang telah dijabarkan tersebut.

 Cause is why something happened.

 Effect is the result of what happened.
 Because effects always have causes and causes always lead to effects, we rarely
see one without the other.

 Effect adalah konsekuensi/akibat dari apa yang telah/akan kita lakukan

 Effect dibentuk dari penjabaran akibat-akibat dari apa yang akan atau telah kita
lakukan
 Pattern :

 Effect : Clause 1 + (conjuction or transition or preposition) + Clause 2

Generic structure

 Susunan dari cause and effect harus mempunyai topic sentence (kalimat utama/pokok)
yang akan dibahas mengenai sebab dan akibat

 Supporting sentences (kalimat-kalimat pendukung) dari cause and effect

 Concluding sentence (kalimat kesimpulan) dari cause and effect

2. The journey was quite quick because the road was clear. (perjalanan cukup cepat
karena jalanan bersih dari hambatan )

3. As it is raining again, I will have to stay at home. (karena hujan sedang turun lagi,
saya akan tinggal di rumah)
Cause : it is raining again.

Hal yang perlu diperhatikan adalah jika kata hubung terletak di awal kalimat,
kita perlu menggunakan tanda baca koma. Akan tetapi, jika kata hubungnya berada di
tengah, kita tidak perlu menggunakan koma.

A. definisi offering something

Offering Something adalah salah satu jenis expression (ungkapan) yang kita
gunakan ketika ingin menawarkan sesuatu kepada orang lain. Dalam materi postingan
kali anda bisa mengetahui cara menawarkan sesuatu dalam bahasa Inggris dan juga cara
menerima atau menolak tawaran yang diberikan. Kita bisa menggunakan ungkapan-
ungkapan berikut dalam berbagai situasi, tuan rumah menawarkan sesuatu kepada tamu
atau ketika di kantor ingin menawarkan sesuatu kepada rekan kerja. Untuk lebih
