Bagian I. No.

1-4 Menanyakan topik dialog, niat/rencana, saran 

Pada tiap-tiap soal  disajikan  dialog dengan 5 pilihan jawaban (A, B, C, D, E).  Pada bagian ini ditanyakan hal-hal seperti isi dialog, niat/rencana
yang akan dilakukan oleh salah satu pembicara, keluhan, saran dan lain sebagainya. Dialog diputar dua kali.Materi sesuai dengan SKL UN.

Contoh Soal:
1. What are the speakers talking about? (menanyakan topik dialog)

2. What will the woman do? (menanyakan hal yang akan dilakukan)

3. What is the woman going to do in this coming spring? (menanyakan rencana)

4. What does the man complain about to his neighbor? (mengungkapan keluhan) pokok          bahasan mengungkapkan saran.

Bagian II. No 5-7 Menetukan tanggapan yang tepat untuk melengkapi dialog 
Pada bagian ini akan diperdengarkan dialog tidak lengkap yang diikuti 4 pilihan (A,B,C,D)  jawaban berupan tanggapan (response). Pilihlah
tanggapan (response) yang tepat sesuai dengan dialog. Dialog diulang dua kali.

Bagian III. No. 8 -11 Menentukan gambar yang sesuai dengan monolog singkat
Pada bagian ini akan diperdengarkan monolog,  yang juga akan diulang dua kali. Setelah monolog selesai akan diberikan 5 gambar. Pilihlah
gambar yang paling sesuai dengan monolog.

Bagian IV. No. 12 - 15 Menjawab pertanyaan yang berkaitan dengan monolog  

Pada bagian ini diperdengarkan monolog yang agak panjang yang diulang sebanyak dua kali. Setelah monolog selesai diperdengarkan, akan
ditanyakan hal-hal yang berkaitan dengan monolog. Pilihan jawaban ada 5 (A,B,C,D,E). 

Satu monolog bisa untuk dua nomor soal. Monologue yang diperdengarkan bisa jadi berupa teks naratif, berita dsb. (sesuai SKL)
