Sectio Caesarean is a labor process that involves surgery. In the face of surgery

purpose of this study is to identify the level of anxiety of patients preoperatively
in sectio caesarean before and after benson relaxation therapy. This research
design uses quasi experiment with pre test post test design. The sample in this
study were 18 patients preoperatively with caesarean section with 9 patients as the
treatment group and 9 patients as the control group. The test used is the Paired
Sample T-Test to see the value of pre and post treatment with the results of p =
0.035 which means there are differences in results between before and after
Benson relaxation therapy in the treatment group. Results for the control group p
= 0.169 which means there is no difference in outcomes between before and after
hospital standard measures are given. Nurses are recommended to use Benson
relaxation according to SOP as an alternative to reduce anxiety in patients with
preoperative sectio caesarean
