Puji dan syukur dan marilah kita panjatkan kehadirat Allah SWT yang telah melimpahkan
rahmat dan hidayahnya. Atas berkat rahmat dan hidayahnya serta berbagai upayah, dalam tugas
makalah mata kuliah Pendidikann Pancasila yang membahas tentang sila ke tiga dan ke empat
dapat diselesaikan dengan baik tepat waktu.
Dalam penyusunan makalah ini, ditulis berdasarkan informasi-informasi dari media massa
yang berhubungan dengan sila ke tiga dan ke empat. Penulis menyadari bahwa makalah ini
masih banyak kekurangan, oleh karena itu berbagai kritik dan saran yang membangun dari

A. LATAR BELAKANG

Tenses was an important part of English education. If a person wants to master the English

well, then he should be able to master the good tenses. Among the tenses forms we'll discuss

present tense.

Another advantage of gaining access to the tenses is that we can be sure to understand all the

grammatical or grammatical elements of the English language. In turn, all the grammar or

grammatical learning we learn in the English is not missing. Of the word order, which is

summarized in the 16 tenses available in English.

PEMBAHASAN
1. Simple Present Tense

Simple present tense akan kamu pakai saat menyatakan suatu kebiasaan atau kegiatan yang
terjadi secara terus menerus hingga sekarang. Selain itu tenses ini juga digunakan saat
menyatakan kebenaran umum, perintah, dan suatu hal yang akan datang tetapi merupakan
kegiatan yang sudah terencana.

2. Present Continous Tense

Kalau kamu ingin menyatakan suatu kegiatan yang sedang berlangsung sekarang maka
gunakanlah tenses ini. Lalu kamu juga dapat menyatakan suatu kegiatan yang akan segera terjadi
atau peristiwa yang terus berulang dan kata keterangan harus disebutkan.

Rumus: S+to be+Ving

Contoh:

 She is singing a good song.


 I am seeing the movie tomorrow.
 He is always complaining.

3. Present Perfect Tense

Jika menyatakan sesuatu yang telah terjadi atau selesai pada saat berbicara, maka kamu bisa
menggunakan present perfect tense.

Rumus: S+have/has+V3

Contoh:

 I have already read that book.


 He has just watered the flowers.
 We have known him for many years.
4. Present Perfect Continuous Tense

Tenses ini berfungsi disaat kamu ingin menyatakan suatu kejadian atau peristiwa yang dimulai
pada masa lalu dan sekarang masih berlangsung atau belum selesai.

Rumus: S+have/has+been+Ving

Contoh:
 Jane has been working in Solo for two years.
 Where are you? I have been waiting for you for hours.
 We have been here for two days.

1.1 Usefulness

a.     Simple present tense

1)      is used to designate a habit that is carried out at times (habit).

                        Example:

·         I only eat vegetables

·         she drinks tea at breakfeast

·         he visits my house twice a week

2)      is used to declare a repeated action.

Example:

·         I go to market every morning

·         my parents are always at home on Sunday

3)      it is used to declare a common truth, a common truth that goes on and on (general truth)

Example:

·         the sun rises di timur Dan set di barat

·         the earthis round


·         A week have seven week

·         ice is cold

·         fire is hot.

b.   present continuous tense

1)      used to indicate the current event.

 Example:

·      my father is bringing a magazine

·      look! She is smiling at you.

·      She is working now

2)      they are used to designate future events.

Example:

·         What are you doing tomorrow evening? 

·         I am going to cinema tomorrow evening. 

·         I am coming here again tomorrow

3)      they are used to designate events that take place temporarily. Example:

·      I am living with some friends until I find a flat.

·      We are listening the radio before she come

·      He usually plays the drums, but he is playing bass guitar tonight

c.      Present perfect Tense

1)      to declare past deeds that have continued to this day.

Example:
·        I have waited you since afternoon

·       He has gone since morning

2)  to explain perfectly completed deeds. 

Example:

·      Budi has given me a book

·      We have helped him

3)      to explain a deuteronomy act atan uncertain time before the present.

Example:

·         I have never promised to met her 

·         She has ever met us 

d.   Present perfect continuous tense

1)      to show the current activity that has been worked.

Example:

· She has been sleeping since one hour ago.  (She's been sleeping for the past hour.) 

· We have been walking for a whole day, but we don’t arrive yet.  (We've been walking all day,

but we haven't reached yet)

2)      to show you the work that has just been completed and the effects can still be felt at this time.

Example:

· It has just been raining all night, and the garden is still wet.

· The fire fighter has just evacuating the victim from that building.

1.2 Rumus
a. Simple Present Tense
Rumus: S+V1/Vs/Ves

Contoh:
 My friend Anna lives in Jakarta.
 The sun rises in the east and sets in the west.
 The train arrives at 2.00
 Close the door!
 Do you like basketball?
b. Present Continous Tense

Rumus: S+to be+Ving

Contoh:

 She is singing a good song.


 I am seeing the movie tomorrow.
 He is always complaining.

c. Present Perfect Tense

Rumus: S+have/has+V3

Contoh:

 I have already read that book.


 He has just watered the flowers.
 We have known him for many years.

d. Present Perfect Continuous Tense

Rumus: S+have/has+been+Ving

Contoh:
 Jane has been working in Solo for two years.
 Where are you? I have been waiting for you for hours.
 We have been here for two days.

By understanding the present tense explanation, it is expected to use it in making the

sentence properly and · Learn more about learning to speak English and write properly.
