~Formula:
1.as+adjective+as
2.so ...+as
3.the same+...+as
4.diferent+...+as/from ...
5.not+as+...+as

~Example:
1.Devan is 40 kg. 2.Rafa is 165 cm.
Deon is 40 kg. Rifa is 165 cm.
=Devan is as heavy as Deon. =Rafa is so tall as Rifa.

3.Giraffe is so high as the tree.

 B.Comparative Degree

(Tingkatan lebih)

~Ciri-ciri:
•To compare two things (Membandingkan dua benda yang berbeda).
•Menggunakan "than" di belakang adjective.

~Aturan:
1.Setiap adjective yang terdiri dari satu suku kata/one synable,maka adjectivenya
ditambah -er.
2.Setiap adjective yang berakhiran dengan huruf -e,maka adjectivenya cukup
ditambah -r.
3.Setiap adjective yang berakhiran dengan huruf -y,maka -y diganti -i ditambah -er.
4.Setiap adjective pendek yang diakhiri huruf konsonan dan diawali huruf
vocal/hidup,maka konsonan yanv terakhir digandakan dan ditambah -er.
5.Setiap adjective yang terdiri dari 2-3 suku kata,maka adjectivenya diawali dengan -
more.

~Example:
1.Skirt A Skirt B

=Skirt A is cheaper than Skirt B.

Skirt B is more expensive than Skirt A.

2.Pencil C is 12 cm.
Pencil D is 15 cm.
=Pencil C is not long as Pencil D.
Pencil D is not as short as Pencil C.

~Ciri-ciri:

(-)adjective+ of ....

~Aturan:
1. Setiap adjective yang terdiri dari satu suku kata /one synable,maka adjectivenya
ditambah -est.
2.Setiap adjective yang berakhiran dengan huruf -e,maka adjectivenya hanya
ditambah -st.
3.Setiap adjective yang berakhiran dengan huruf -y,maka -y diganti -i ditambah -st.
4.Setiap adjective pendek yang diakhiri huruf konsonan dan diawali dengan huruf
vocal/hidup,maka konsonan yang terakhir digandakan dan ditambah -est.
5.Setiap adjective yang terdiri dari 2-3 suku kata,maka adjectivenya diawali -most.

1. This road is the ………. in the town.(narrow)
=This road is the narrowest in the town.

2.My bicycle is the .. ...... than yours.(new)

=My bicycle is the newest than yours.

3.He is the ... .... man in the village.(brave)

=He is the bravest man in the village.
