Sehubungan surat Dekan Fakultas Kehutanan UGM Nomor 1108/UNI/FKT1/ UM/2023,

tanggal 19 Juni 2023, perihal Permohonan Dukungan Pelaksanaan Seminar Internasional,
disampaikan hal-hal sebagai berikut:

1. Fakultas Kehutanan UGM akan menyelenggarakan International Symposium on Wildlife

Biodiversity Conservation (ISWBC), berdasarkan hasil pembahasan terakhir direncanakan
tentatif pada bulan awal bulan September 2023, yang semula diagendakan pada tanggal
14-16 Agustus 2023, terdiri dari 6 simposia dengan masing-masing tema:
a. Biodiversity Conservation and Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation
b. Bioprospecting, Biopiracy, and Wildlife Crime
c. Protection of Indigenous Knowledge and Social Cultural Safeguard
d. Sustainable Farming, Food Security and Wildlife Conservation
e. Innovation in Biodiversity Conservation Technology
f. Partnership and Collaboration in Wildlife Conservation

2. Berkenaan dengan hal tersebut di atas dan dalam rangka meningkatkan kapasitas SDM
dalam pengelolaan kawasan konservasi, agar Saudara menugaskan staf dilingkungan
masing-masing untuk mengikuti kegiatan seminar dimaksud secara online.
