PENGERTIA
N RESPIRASI Pernafasan (respirasi) adalah suatu proses mulai dari pengambilan
oksigen, pengeluaran karbohidrat hingga penggunaan energi di
dalam tubuh manusia dalam bernapas menghirup oksigen dalam
udara bebas
dan membuang karbon dioksida ke lingkungan.
Respirasi dapat dibedakan atas dua jenis, yaitu
1.Respirasi Luar merupakan pertukaran antara O2 dan CO2
antara darah dan udara.
2.Respirasi Dalam merupakan pertukaran O2 dan CO2 dari
aliran darah ke sel-sel
Tubuh.
Dalam mengambil nafas ke dalam tubuh
dan membuang napas ke udara dilakukan
dengan
dua cara pernapasan, yaitu :

1. Respirasi / Pernapasan Dada Otot antar

tulang rusuk luar berkontraksi atau
mengerut Tulang rusuk terangkat ke atas
Rongga dada membesar yang
mengakibatkan tekanan udara dalam dada
kecil sehingga
udara masuk ke dalam badan.
2. Respirasi / Pernapasan
Perut Otot difragma pada
perut mengalami kontraksi
Diafragma datar Volume
rongga dada menjadi besar
yang mengakibatkan
tekanan udara pada dada

a. Fisiologi Ventilasi Paru
Masuk dan keluarnya udara antara atmosfer dan alveoli paru. Pergerakan udara ke
dalam dan keluar paru disebabkan oleh :
1. Tekanan Leura
2. Tekanan Alveolus
3. Tekanan Transpulmonal
b. Fisiologi Kendali Persarafan Pada Pernafasan
Terdapat dua mekanisme neural terpisah bagi pengaturan pernafasan.
1. Mekanisme yang berperan pada kendali pernafasan volunter.
2. Mekanisme yang mengendalikan pernafasan otomatis.
c. Pengaturan aktivitas pernafasan
d. Pengendalian kimiawi pernafasan
e. Pengangkutan oksigen ke jaringan
