JELASKAN PENGERTIAN DARI MEAN, MEDIAN DAN
MODUS BESERTA CONTOH SOALNYA?
 APA ITU MEAN?
• Mean adalah perhitungan jumlah nilai data dibagi dengan
banyaknya observasi atau banyaknya individu. Nama lain dari
mean adalah rata-rata. Oleh sebab itu, pengertian lain dari mean
adalah nilai tengah atau rata-rata dari suatu gugus data
pengamatan.
MEAN
• Mean dibedakan menjadi dua bentuk. Jenis mean adalah rata-rata
sampel yang dilambangkan dengan x bar dan rata-rata populasi
yang biasa dilambangkan dengan miyu (μ). Kedua jenis tersebut
yang membedakannya adalah rumusnya.

• Fungsi mean adalah dapat menghitung rata-rata dari data yang

tidak berkelompok maupun data yang berkelompok.
 APA ITU MEDIAN ?
• Median adalah nilai tengah dari data yang sudah diurutkan dan
disusun secara teratur berdasarkan besar kecilnya data. Oleh
sebab itu, perhitungan median dilakukan setelah Anda
MEDIAN menyusun data mulai dari yang terkecil hingga terbesar,
kemudian barulah ditentukan nilai tengahnya.
• Penentuan median ini menunjukkan bahwa ada 50% dari
jumlah data atau frekuensi distribusi yang letaknya dibawah
median serta 50%-nya yang lain di atas median.
 APA ITU MODUS?

• Modus adalah nilai yang sering muncul. Maksudnya adalah

dalam kumpulan data, nilai dengan frekuensi terbanyak
disebut dengan modus. Ukuran modus digunakan untuk
mengetahui tingkat seringnya terjadi dalam suatu peristiwa. MODUS
• Untuk modus yang tidak berkelompok, cara menemukan
modus cukup mudah yaitu dengan menghitung frekuensi dari
masing-masing data, kemudian dicari nilai yang mempunyai
frekuensi terbanyak atau yang sering muncul.

Estimasi adalah metode untuk memperkirakan nilai populasi
dengan memakai data nilai sampel. Teori estimasi atau biasa
disebut teori pendugaan (penaksiran) adalah suatu proses dengan
menggunakan statitisk sampel untuk menduga parameter
populasi.
Sedangkan, estimator adalah nilai statistik atau statistik sampel
yang dipakai untuk menduga nilai populasi (parameter).
 APA ITU UJI HIPOTESIS ?
RUMUS TEORI PENDUGaan (estimasi)
Hipotesis statistik adalah suatu pernyataan operasional
dalam penelitian kuantitatif yang diterjemahkan dalam
bentuk angka-angka statistik sesuai dengan alat ukur yang
dikehendaki oleh peneliti. Hipotesis statistik bisa berupa
dua hal, yaitu penjelasan sementara atau prediksi tentang
suatu hal yang akan diteliti. Hipotesis statistik tersebut
harus berkaitan dengan aspek-aspek keseluruhan data yang
digunakan. Hipotesis statistik merupakan salah satu cara
pengujian dalam analisis dengan menggunakan sebagian
data dari keseluruhan data pada penelitian kuantitatif.
