 JENIS SISTEM EFI

Sistem EFI seperti diketahui adalah hasil perkembangan teknologi automotif dari sistem bahan bakar yang
menggunakan sistem karburetor.Sejauh ini dikenal melalui tiga jenis iaitu D-EFI, K-EFI dan L-EFI.
 Jenis D-EFI sering juga dikenal dengan istilah
D-EFI ●
D-Jetronik. Sistem ini pengontrolan injeksinya
dilakukan ecara elektronik. Bagi yang
penasaran, apa yang diwakili oleh huru “D”?
Huruf tersebut mewakili kata Druck, yang
berasal dari bahasa Jerman yang berarti
“tekanan”.

● Dalam menunjang kerja sistem D-EFI

digunakan sebuah sensor utama yakni
sensor MAP atau manifold absolute pressure
sensor. Sensor ini bertugas mendeteksi
jumlah udara yang akan masuk ke saluran
masuk intake manifold EFI berdasarkan
kevakuman yang terjadi di dalamnya. Sensor
akan memberikan informasi berupa sinyal
digital ke ECU. Olahan data digital dari ECU
akan digunakan untuk memerintahkan
aktuator sistem EFI yakni mengontrol berapa
lama penginjeksian bahan bakar oleh injektor
ke dalam ruang bakar
