ABSTRAK
Hubungan stres dan masa kerja dengan produktivitas kerja di perusahaan air
minum dalam kemasan
LATAR BELAKANG
Pesatnya era globalisasi dan teknologi yang sedang berkembang hingga saat ini
dalam bidang transportasi dan telekomunikasi memberikan banyak dampak positif
dalam perkembangan ekonomi di lingkungan industri. Namun kemajuan teknologi
juga dapat memberikan dampak yang negatif. Kompleksnya teknologi yang
semakin modern, perubahan bentuk kerja, organisasi kerja dan sistem produksi
menempatkan suatu tuntutan yang tinggi pada daya kerja. Semakin tingginya
tuntutan dapat memberikan sebuah tekanan baik secara mental dan fisik terhadap
tenaga kerja. Tuntutan fisik dan tugas berupa pekerjaan yang berulang-ulang

ABSTRACT
The relationship of job stress and working period of work productivity in the
bottled water company
BACKGROUND
The rapid globalization and emerging technologies to date in the field of transport
and telecommunications provide a lot of positive impact on economic
development in an industrial environment. However, advances in technology can
also have a negative impact. Growing complexity of modern technology, changes
in the form of work, work organization and production system puts a high demand
on the power of work. Increasing demand to provide a pressure both mentally and
physically for work productivity. Physical demands and tasks in the form of

repetitive work resulted in boredom experienced workforce that can cause stress
and ultimately affect performance and productivity.
METHODE
This study was an observational analytic cross-sectional design, which is done to
the 50 people working in the packaging department in the company of bottled
water. Analyzed using univariate and bivariate analyzise Chi Square and SPSS for
Windows.
RESULTS
1) The relationship working period with work productivity has a value of p =
0.001 <0.05, 2) The relationship of job stress with work productivity has a value
of p = 0.008 <0.05.
CONCLUSION
1) This study can be deduced: respondents working period <1 year were 22 people
(44%) while the 1-3 year amounted to 28 people (56%), 2) Respondents who
experienced job stress as many as 27 people (54%), while the not experiencing job
stress as many as 23 people (46%), 3) Respondents who had good productivity by
29 people (58%) while those with poor productivity as many as 21 people (42%),
4) working period significantly affect the work productivity in bottled water
companies, 5) job stress significantly affect the work productivity in bottled water
company.
