padanya.

Geometri Fano
Teorema Fano 1. Dua garis yang berbeda memiliki tepat satu titik
yang terletak pada keduanya.
Bukti. Menurut Aksioma 5, terdapat paling sedikit satu titik yang
terletak pada setiap dua garis yang berbeda. Kita akan menggunakan

Teorema Fano 2. Terdapat terdapat tepat tujuh titik dan tujuh garis.
Bukti.

INCIDENCE GEOMETRY
The axiomatic system of incidence geometry consists of the undefined
or primitive terms : point, line, and on. This axiomatic system
contains a finite number of axioms and doesnt explicitly state the
number of points and lines. Of course, it is different to Fano and
Young geometry that state the number of points and lines.
Nevertheless, this axiomatic system can be applied to both finite and
infinite geometries. Any geometry which satifies this axiomatic system
is called an incidence geometry. The axiomatic system of incidence
geometry contains axioms :
Axiom 1. There exists exactly one line on each two distinct point.
Axiom 2. There exist at least two distinct point on every line.
Axiom 3. There exist at least three distinct point.
Axiom 4. Not all points lie on the same line.

It can be shown that Four Point, Fano, and Young Geometry are
examples of incidence geometry. The explanation of Four Point, Fano,
and Young Geometry as examples of incidence geometry is left as a
exercise for the reader. From axiomatic system of incidence geometry,
we can deduce some theorems.
one

intersecting.
Incidence Theorem 2. For each point, there exist at least two lines
containing it.
Proof. Let P be a point in incidence geometry. According to axiom 3,
there exist at least two other points Q and R, beside of P. By axiom 1,
there exists exactly one line on Q and R. Of course, this line doesnt
contain P. It means that for each point P then there exists at least one
line l not containing P. By axiom 2, there exist at least two distinct
point on l. By axiom 1, P and each points on l determine one line. So,
there
exist
at
least
two
lines
on
P.

Is it possible that there exist more than two lines on each point in
incidence geometry ? The answer is left as a exercise for the reader.
Incidence Theorem 3. There exist three lines which do not lie on the
same point.
Proof. By axiom 3 and 4, there exist at least three points which do not
lie on the same line. By axiom 1, these lines, each other, determine
one line. Therefore, there exist at least three line which do not
intersect
together
or
lie
on
the

point.

The Four Point and Fano geometry are Euclidean, while the Young
Geometry is non-Euclidean. The explanation of this is left as a
exercise for the reader.

EUCLIDE GEOMETRY
Euclid Geometry is a geometry that satisfies axiomatic system which
is exposited by Euclid in his book, the elements. He begin his
exposition by mentioning 23 definitons, two of them are :
1. A point is that which has no part.
2. A line is breadthless length.
Euclid didnt use the term axiom, but he used the postulate to refer to
assumption which relate specifically to geometry. The term axiom is
used to refer to assumptions which correspond to mathematics, not to
geometry specifically. The Euclide Postulates are :
1. To draw straight line from any point to any point.
2. To produce a finite straight line continuously in a straight line.
3. To describe a circle with any center and distance.
4. That all right angle are equal to one another.
5. That, if a straight line falling on two straight lines makes the
interior angles on the same side less than two right angles, the
two straight line , if produced indefinitely, meet on the side on
which the angles are less than two right angles.
