KEPEMIMPINAN PADA KINERJA KARYAWAN

ABSTRAK
Komunikasi merupakan hal yang sangat penting dalam menjalani
kehidupan sehari-hari. Dalam suatu perusahaan atau organisasi,
komunikasi tentunya sangat berpengaruh dalam mencapai tujuan
organisasi. Kepemimpinan adalah proses memengaruhi atau memberi
contoh oleh pemimpin atau atasan kepada pengikut atau bawahannya
dalam upaya mencapai tujuan organisasi. Pemimpin yang baik sudah
seharusnya memiliki keterampilan komunikasi yang baik. Menurut
situasi, terdapat 5 tipe kepemimpinan, yaitu tipe otokratik, tipe
militeristik, tipe paternalistik, tipe karismatik dan tipe demokratik.
Karyawan yang bekerja dalam suatu perusahaan tentunya akan
mengikuti pemimpinnya. Gaya kepemimpinan dan komunikasi dari
pemimpin akan memengaruhi karyawannya dalam bekerja. Karyawan
juga tentunya memiliki motivasi atas kebutuhan dalam bekerja. Dalam
teori kebutuhan Maslow, terdapat 5 tingkat dasar kebutuhan, dari
tingkatan yang paling rendah sampai tingkatan yang paling tinggi,
yaitu kebutuhan fisiologis, kebutuhan akan rasa aman, kebutuhan
akan rasa memiliki dan kasih sayang, kebutuhan akan penghargaan
dan kebutuhan akan aktualisasi dari. Selain komunikasi
kepemimpinan, berbagai kebutuhan dasar menuru teori Maslow
tersebut tentunya juga sangat memengaruhi kinerja karyawan dalam
pekerjaannya di suatu perusahaan.

ABSTRACT
Communication is a very important thing in living everyday life.
In a company or organization, communication is certainly very
influential in achieving organizational goals. Leadership is the
process of influencing or giving examples of leaders or superiors
to followers or subordinates in an effort to achieve
organizational goals. A good leader should have good
communication skills. According to the situation, there are 5
types of leadership, namely the autocratic type, militaristic type,
paternalistic type, charismatic type and democratic type.

Employees who work in a company will certainly follow their
leaders. Leadership style and communication from the leader
will influence their employees at work. Employees also certainly
have motivation for the needs at work. In Maslow's theory of
needs, there are 5 basic levels of need, from the lowest level to
the highest level, namely physiological needs, the need for
security, the need for belonging and affection, the need for
appreciation and the need for actualization of. In addition to
leadership communication, a variety of basic needs to pursue
Maslow's theory of course also greatly affect the performance of
employees in their work in a company.
