1. Tujuan / Purpose
1.1. Tujuan prosedur ini adalah untuk menyediakan pedoman untuk memastikan
bahwa seluruh alatlistrik portabel disimpan dan digunakan di dalam kondisi
kerja yang aman untuk melindungi pengguna dari sengatan listrik dan
kebakaran di area Kontrak Karya (KK) PT Dairi Prima Mineral (DPM).
The purpose of this procedure is to provide guidelines to ensure that all
portable electrical equipment is stored and used in safe working conditions to
protect users from electric shock and fire in the PT Dairi Prima Mineral (DPM)
Contract of Work (COW) area.

2. Ruang Lingkup / Scope

2.1. Prosedur ini membahas persyaratan minimum tindakan pencegahan untuk
keselamatanbagi alat listrik portabel.
This procedure addresses the minimum requirements for safety precautions for
portable power tools.
2.2. Prosedur ini berlaku untuk:

2.2.1. Seluruh departemen yang ada di PT DPM, Perusahaan Mitra dan
Kontraktor yang beroperasi di dalam area Kontrak Karya (KK) PT. DPM.
All DPM Department, Company Partner and Contractors who operating in
Working Area of PT. DPM
2.2.2. Karyawan dan personel lain (termasuk karyawan sementara dan karyawan
kontraktor), tamu perusahaan, atau siapa pun yang bekerja dan/atau
berada di tempat kerja di Wilayah Kontrak Karya PT. DPM
Employes and other Personnel (include temporary employee and
Contractor Employes), Company Guest, or every person who working
and/or located in Working Area of PT. DPM

3. Pemberlakuan / Affect
3.1. SOP ini dibuat pada tanggal 1 April 2017 dan direvisi pada tanggal 10
Agustus 2022 dikantor DPM di Sidikalang
This SOP made on 1st April 2017 and revised on 10 th August 2022 at DPM
Office at Sidikalang

4. Definisi / Definition
4.1. Perkakas atau Alat Berinsulasi Ganda– Perkakas dan alat yang berdasarkan
rancangannya dilindungi oleh sistem insulasi ganda dan oleh karena itu tidak
memerlukan hubungan ke sistem konduktor pembumian (system ground
conductor).
Double Insulated Tools or Appliances– Tools and tools are by design
protected by a double insulation system and therefore do not require
connection to a system ground conductor.
4.2. Alat Listrik, Portabel – didefinisikan sebagai “Lapangan” atau “Kantor”
Power Tools, Portable – defined as “Field” or “Office”

a. Alat Listrik Lapangan – Alat yang dihubungkan dengan kabel (cord) dan
plug yang digunakan di seluruh site, baik di workshop atau di lapangan,
seperti perkakas tangan portabel, extension lead, mesin las, dll.
Field Power Tools – Cords and plugs used throughout the site, either in the
workshop or in the field, such as portable hand tools, extension leads,
welding machines, etc.
b. Alat Listrik Kantor – Alat yang dihubungkan dengan kabel dan plug yang
digunakan terutama di kantor, ruang kelas atau ruang konferensi, seperti
komputer, printer, mesin fotokopi, LCD, kulkas, dll.
Office Power Tools – Appliances connected by cables and plugs used
mainly in offices, classrooms or conference rooms, such as computers,
printers, copiers, LCDs, refrigerators, etc.
4.3. Pemutus Sirkuit Kegagalan Pembumian (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter-
GFCI) – suatu perangkat yang dimaksudkan untuk melindungi personel yang
berfungsi untuk memutus sumber listrik sirkuit atau bagian darinya dalam
periode waktu yang ditetapkan ketika arus ke bumi melebihi nilai-nilai yang
ditetapkan untuk perangkat kelas A (saat ini 6ma) (NEC 2008: Pasal 100 –
Definisi).
Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) – a device intended to protect
personnel whose function is to disconnect the mains circuit or part of it within
a specified period of time when the current to earth exceeds the values
specified for class A devices ( currently 6ma) (NEC 2008: Article 100 –
Definition).

5. Prosedur / Procedure
5.1. Semua alat listrik portabel harus diidentifikasi dan dirawat dengan benar
untuk memastikan kondisi yang aman dan terdaftar pada register.
All portable power tools must be properly identified and maintained to ensure
safe condition and registered on the register.
5.2. Alat listrik portabel tidak boleh digunakan kecuali jika terpasang label inspeksi
kuartalan yang terbaru.
Portable power tools must not be used unless the latest quarterly inspection
label is attached.
5.3. Alat listrik portabel yang digunakan di area kerja, workshop, dan kantor harus
diinspeksi secara visual oleh petugas inspeksi yang bersertifikasi dalam
interval-interval yang ditetapkan.
Portable power tools used in work areas, workshops and offices must be
visually inspected by a certified inspection officer at specified intervals.
a. Alat lapangan harus diinspeksi setiap tiga bulan, pada awal bulan Januari,
April, Juli, dan Oktober. Jika alat lulus dalam pemeriksaan inspeksi, label
berwarna yang sesuai diisi dan ditempelkan pada kabel listrik.
Field equipment should be inspected quarterly, in early January, April, July,
and October. If the appliance passes the inspection check, the appropriate
colored label is filled out and affixed to the power cord.
Label memiliki rkode warna untuk mengidentifikasi periode inspeksi:
The labels are color coded to identify the inspection period :
 Biru – Januari sampai Maret (Kuartal Satu)
 Hijau – April sampai Juni (Kuartal Dua)

 Merah – Juli sampai September (Kuartal Tiga)

 Kuning – Oktober sampai Desember (Kuartal Empat).
b. Alat kantor harus diinspeksi sekali setiap tahun. Jika alat lulus dalam
pemeriksaan inspeksi, label berwarna putih (label tahunan) diisi dan
ditempelkan.
Office equipment should be inspected once every year. If the tool passes
the inspection inspection, a white label (annual label) is filled out and affixed.
c. Label inspeksi kode warna listrik harus mencantumkan:
The electrical color coded inspection label must include:
 Tanggal inspeksi yang disyaratkan;
Required inspection date;
 Tanda tangan atau nomor karyawan dari Juru Listrik atau Petugas
Inspeksi Bersertifikasi;
Signature or employee number of the Certified Electrician or Inspection
Officer;
 Nomor Register Listrik
Electricity Register Number
5.4. Alat listrik portabel juga harus diinspeksi:
Portable power tools should also be inspected:
a. Sebelum digunakan pertama kali;
Before first use;
b. Sebelum kembali digunakan setelah alat diperbaiki;
Before returning to use after the tool is repaired;
5.5. Alat listrik portabel apa pun yang mungkin rusak atau dalam kondisi tidak
aman harus dipasang label dengan segera, dilepas dari penggunaan dan
dilaporkan. Hanya juru listrik bersertifikasi yang boleh mengetes, menyervis
atau memperbaiki alat tersebut.
Any portable power tool that may be damaged or in an unsafe condition must
be labeled immediately, removed from use and reported. Only a certified
electrician may test, service or repair the appliance.
5.6. Perkakas portabel tangan yang diinsulasi ganda harus diperoleh jika tersedia.
Double insulated hand portable tools should be obtained where available.
5.7. Kabel suplai listrik untuk alat listrik harus dilapisi agar sesuai dengan
aplikasinya seperti yang ditentukan oleh Komite Listrik DPM.
Power supply cables for power tools must be coated to suit the application as
determined by the DPM Electrical Committee.
5.8. Modifikasi terhadap extension cord dan kabel fleksibel harus dihubungkan
dengan kabelsehingga hubungan phase, netral dan pembumian berakhir pada
pin-pin yang benar dari plug dan socket dan memiliki polarisasi yang benar.
Modifications to extension cords and flexible cables must be connected with
cables so that the phase, neutral and earth connections terminate on the
correct pins of the plug and socket and have the correct polarization.
5.9. Plug yang ditetapkan untuk penggunaan pada voltase tertentu harus
dikonfigurasi sedemikian rupa sehingga plug tidak akan bisa masuk ke dalam
socket dengan voltase yang berbeda.
Plugs that are designated for use at a certain voltage must be configured so
that the plug will not be able to fit into a socket with a different voltage.

5.10.Pemutus Sirkuit Kegagalan Pembumian (GFCI) atau perangkat arus residual

(residual current device) yang terukur pada enam (6) milliampere atau
kurang harus digunakan bila perlu.
An Earth Failure Circuit Breaker (GFCI) or residual current device rated at six
(6) milliamperes or less should be used where necessary.
5.11.Alat listrik portabel atau yang dapat dibawa termasuk baterai bertenaga listrik,
yang digunakan di “lokasi berbahaya” harus:
Portable or portable power tools including electrically powered batteries,
which are used in “hazardous locations” must:
a. Untuk baterai bertenaga listrik, alat harus diberi tanda disetujui untuk
lokasi bersangkutan.
For electrically powered batteries, the appliance must be marked with the
approval for the location concerned.
b. Untuk cord dan plug-yang bertenaga listrik, alat hanya dapat diberi tenaga
listrik dari receptacle yang terletak di dalam area dan harus diberi tanda
disetujui untuk loasi bersangkutan.
For electrically powered cords and plugs, the appliance can only be
powered by a receptacle located within the area and must be marked as
approved for that location.
5.12.Semua extension lead di luar ruangan harus heavy duty (12AWG).
All outdoor extension leads must be heavy duty (12AWG).
5.13.Jika lead dapat dilepas dari alat, seperti pada alat kantor, lead harus
diidentifikasi dan diperiksa secara terpisah.
If the leads can be removed from the appliance, such as in office equipment,
the leads must be identified and inspected separately

3. Jika urutan di atas dilakukan dengan benar, dan tidak ada kerusakan yang
ditemukan, lengkapi dan pasang label tahunan pada mesin. (Jangan lupa mengisi
“Register Peralatan Portabel.”)
If the above sequence is carried out correctly, and no damage is found, complete
and attach the annual label to the machine. (Don't forget to fill in the “Portable
Equipment Register.”)
4. Jika kerusakan ditemukan, pasang label “Out of Service” dan laporkan kepada
supervisor Anda. (jangan memasang “Label Tes Tahunan” pada alat yang rusak
atau cacat.)
If any damage is found, put an “Out of Service” label and report it to your
supervisor. (Do not attach the “Annual Test Label” to damaged or defective
equipment.)
