NAMA PROGRAM Program Inspirasi Jaya Desa Bakti (PIJDB’21)

PENGANJUR Pelajar Tahun 4 yang mengambil Kursus SPPP 4043-02 Bina Insan
Guru, Sekolah Pendidikan, Fakulti Sains Sosial dan Kemanusiaan,
Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM).
PENGANJUR BERSAMA JPK Desa Bakti, NGO Ikram dan SOE
Program ini merupakan program berterusan yang dapat memberi
PENGENALAN impak positif kepada penduduk Desa Bakti dan juga pelajar yang
terlibat. Program ini terdiri daripada 4 fasa aktiviti berlainan yang
akan dilaksanakan. Antaranya ialah;
Fasa 1: Majlis perasmian dan Kem Bahasa Inggeris ‘Jelajah Cahaya
Ramadhan’
Fasa 2: Pengagihan Iftar kepada penduduk Desa Bakti
Fasa 3: Bengkel taklimat Kelestarian Alam Sekitar dan Majlis
Penutup dan Penyampaian Hadiah dan Sijil
Fasa 4: Dokumentasi (Documentation)

Program ini adalah bertujuan untuk:


TUJUAN
1. Membantu penaiktarafan kawasan Desa Bakti dari segi keadaan
masyarakat setempat dan sekitarnya.
2. Membantu meningkatkan kelestarian, kondisi infrastruktur dan
landskap Desa Bakti.

OBJEKTIF Objektif program ialah:


1. Untuk memperkayakan daya pemikiran dan kemahiran berbahasa
Inggeris di kalangan pelajar
2. Untuk mewujudkan persekitaran Desa Bakti yang bersih dan
harmoni
3. Untuk memastikan konsep kelestarian alam sekitar difahami dan
dihayati di kalangan masyarakat setempat serta pelajar-pelajar
4. Untuk mengeratkan hubungan silaturrahim antara masyarakat
Desa Bakti dan pelajar-pelajar di samping dapat meningkatkan
mutu pemikiran melalui bengkel dan pertandingan yang
dijalankan
5. Untuk menghidupkan dan memeriahkan lagi bulan Ramadhan
serta memperingati golongan kurang mampu dan bernasib baik

EXECUTIVE OF SUMMARY
Program Name Jelajah Cahaya Ramadhan
1)

2) Organizer 4 SPPL (Bachelor of Science with Education (TESL) students.

3) Introduction Covid-19 has affected the world to the point of no return; the field of
education especially has been terribly impacted. Most educators are trying
their very best to provide an active learning environment for students
through various online platforms. However, due to the lack of experience on
both teachers and students the efforts have not reached the maximum
potential. Having a firsthand experience in conducting online lessons for
students during our practical teaching throughout the implementation of
Movement Control Order has given us: 4 SPPL students, the idea to help
teachers in fostering a highly engaged learning environment through a
language camp that we have decided to name it: Jelajah Cahaya Ramadhan.
This camp will integrate the four fundamental skills of English: Listening,
Speaking, Reading and Writing, in all the activities that would be conducted.
The activities are designed to help Malaysian university and Desa Bakti
students where they do not have the opportunities to practice their second
language skills as schools’ operations are ceased and examinations are
postponed during the pandemic for about one year, from March 2020 till
March 2021.

4) Objectives The objectives of Jelajah Cahaya Ramadhan Camp is to enable participants


to:

i. Utilize the four fundamental skills of English Language effectively


and confidently
ii. Experience learning the English Language in a very engaging and
joyful environment.
iii. Develop team working skills by involving themselves in the various
activities organized throughout the camp.

program among the educational institutions in Johor Bahru; mainly Malaysian
universities and Desa Bakti students.

12) Closing With all the plans having been explained thoroughly, we sincerely hoped
that this proposal would be approved. This online camp does not only
benefit us as TESL Teacher Trainees, to keep on improving our instructional
strategies to catch up with the massive development in the field of
education. Students would also be very excited to put into practice their
newfound skills in communicating with their new friends. We are looking
forward to this excellent opportunity. Please feel free to reach out to the

2) Organizer SPPP4043-02 2020/21 (Subject Teacher Development).

3) Introduction Teacher Development is a compulsory subject for students in School of


Education, this proposal is to seek approval from School of Education to
enable to run a virtual interview and to document all of the findings to create
a virtual magazine to establish a book regarding volunteerism among
teachers and students towards communities.

4) Objectives The objectives of Jelajah Cahaya Ramadhan Camp is to enable participants


to:
i. Document importance of volunteerism among community members
towards their society.
ii. Instill the importance of doing volunteerism
iii. Show difference of body and ways to help community.

12) Closing A project that is done solely that would like to be approved in order to create
awareness of volunteerism. I hope with the approval it and success of this
project will open the eyes of future Teachers to be more proactive not in just
