1. Field Inspector – Geotech

➢ Job Summary
The purpose of the role is to be accountable for daily field inspection of all geotechnical
works or construction at mining/outer mine area, i.e, mining faces, quarry, disposal, dyke,
pond, retaining wall, mining haul road, logistic road, tower line foundation, etc. This role
also should be able to provide recommendation for guidance or direction of those
geotechnical works with refer to assessment and recommendations from geotechnical
engineers.

This role also maintains harmonious relations with regional and national Directorate
Energy and Mine Resources Department, with objective to ensure effective implement
and compliance with government regulation to support production levels through
maintaining the smooth, effective and efficient flow of goods within the overall statutory
requirements.

➢ Main Accountabilities
1. Implement and established policies and regulations from department of energy and
mineral resources according to “Keputusan Menteri ESDM Nomor 1827 K 30 MEM
2018” to achieve mining best practice mainly related with geotechnical aspects.
2. Daily field inspection to monitor compliances of all geotechnical works or
construction at mining/outer mine area, i.e, mining faces, quarry, disposal, dyke,
pond, retaining wall, mining haul road, logistic road, etc. related with assessment and
recommendations of slope stability and bearing capacity.
3. Daily field inspection to monitor visually for stability of all geotechnical works or
construction at mining/outer mine area, i.e, mining faces, quarry, disposal, dyke,
pond, retaining wall, mining haul road, logistic road, tower line foundation, etc.
related with slope stability and bearing capacity aspects.
4. Daily reporting for visual monitoring of geotechnical structures.
5. Communicate and explanation of geotechnical recommendations based on field
inspection to mining operations.
6. Follow up and ensure geotechnical recommendations have been implemented
properly.
7. Comprehend to understand and implement geotechnical assessment independently
without assistance of geotechnical engineers.
8. Working closely with mining operation or contractor for supervision of remediation for
any specified geotechnical issues.

➢ Skill & Knowledge


• Understand basic principle of geotechnical engineering especially related
with slope stability and bearing capacity
• Basic report writing skills
• Able to operate MS Office software (Ms. Excel, Ms. Word, Ms. Power Point, Ms.

2. Field Inspector – Hydrology

➢ Job Summary
The purpose of the role is to be accountable for daily field inspection of all geotechnical

3. Electrical Instrumentation Designer

➢ Job Summary
Provide electrical & instrumentation, control and telecommunication engineering
drawings and design for construction of moderate complex Capital and
Operating project and maintenance activities, that are accurate,
comprehensive, understandable, constructable, useable and in accordance
with PTVI technical standards, Major Hazard Standards (MHS) & EHS standards
and operation procedures.

➢ Main Accountabilities
• Ensure compliance to all safety procedures, standards and policies.
• Develop design drafting of engineering drawings that comply with PTVI
standards and are accurate, usable, maintainable, comprehensive,
understandable and constructible.
• Develop material take-off and preparation of Bills of Materials, for accurate
estimation of costs and procurement of materials.
• Perform as-built record updating, to ensure accurate records for PTVI
Maintenance and Operations.
• Document preparation and issue in accordance with PTVI Standard to ensure
no duplication of drawings and quick identification and quick recovery of
drawing records.
• Develop design drawings requirements in conjunction with the Design
Engineer, to enable construction, operational and maintenance.
• Conduct field investigation to verify information to meet objective safety,
constructability and maintainability.

➢ Skill & Knowledge


1. Knowledgeable of CAD drafting software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ect
2. Knowledgeable of Electrical and Instrumentation, control and
telecommunication design standards

4. Instrumentation Engineer

➢ Job Summary
To provide instrumentation, control and telecommunication engineering design
work from engineering feasibility study phase to the commissioning phase of the
project with a good quality of deliverables, meets company standards and
National & International codes & standards. Provide technical assistant to
operational and maintenance departments for problem solving and root cause
analysis. Technical review to other instument engineers design.

➢ Main Accountabilities
• Comply with all PTVI and Engineering Department EHS procedures, standards
and policies in Engineering Project area.
• Execute the requirements as stipulated in the EHS policy.
• Perform safety and procedure audits, to ensure safety standards are
maintained or improved.
• Complete instrumentation, control and telecommunication engineering
design following PTVI Engineering Standard Procedures
• Develop project scope and provide alternatives and recommendations to
the project engineer, project manager and project sponsor as per
agreement with project sponsor.
• Coordinate preparation of instrumentation, control and telecommunication
engineering construction drawings to ensure a comprehensive package is
issued that is fully understood and constructible
• Develop instrumentation control and telecommunication technical
specification for equipment purchase.
• Develop cost estimate in accordance with project scope of work and
technical specifications.
• Create material requisition for all equipment & material required in the project
assigned, review technical and bid evaluation and propose to project
engineer and project manager for the best tender offer.
• Produce tender scope of work (instrumentation, control and
telecommunication), review technical bid and propose to project engineer
and project manager for the best tender offer.
• Prepare and collate instrumentation, control and telecommunication
Engineering Work Package (EWP) documentation and commissioning
procedure, to ensure all aspects of construction, safety, and quality clearly
defined.
• Perform periodic inspection to ensure the work is technically being performed
in accordance with instrumentation, control and telecommunication EWP
requirements.
• Resolve technical issues during project execution and complete
commissioning after project is completed, to ensure the project meets the
planned objectives
• Responsible for the quality, technical competence and professionalism of the
engineering effort.
• Carry out intergrated engineering design using best current practice and be
able to accept responsibility for a safe and reliable result.
• Perform technical review for the instrumentation, control and
telecommunication engineering designs
• Ensure project design is completed within the minimum necessary amount for
engineering work.
• Maintain document records and close out on project completion, to ensure
comprehensive record is available for subsequent reference.

5. Environment Officer

➢ Job Summary
Supports and working collaboratively within Sorowako Growth Project
Department to continuously monitor the environment and sustainability best
practices through actively checking and monitoring the implementation of
environment principles and compliance to achieve the organization target
towards environment excellence for each of Project phase until project
completion.

➢ Main Accountabilities :
• Regulary monitor, consolidate data, analyse and regularly provide update
of environment work programs and initiatives to selected departments to
understand their achievement status.
• Develop and continuously improve environment work programs and
initiatives KPI’s dashboard to monitor their progress to provide ease
understandable report.
• Regularly perform assessment and deviation analysis along with
departments representative for unmet KPIs’ target to define required
corrective actions plan and assists their deployments’ to related
departments to ensure the targets are delivered timely
• Regularly track and monitor respective departments progress follow up on
corrective actions required and provide required assistance to ensure all of
actions are delivered timely
• Perform and lead environment related studies required by selected
departments to support compliance, site contamination remediation,
liabilities, EMS, GHG emission, and other environment related.

6. Civil Engineer

➢ Purpose of the Role


To provide civil & structural engineering design work from engineering
feasibility study phase to the commissioning phase of the project with a
good quality of deliverables, meets company standards and National &
International codes & standards. Provide technical assistant to operational
and maintenance departments for problem solving and root cause
analysis. Technical review to other civil engineers design.

➢ Key Roles and Accountabilities


• Comply with all PTVI and Engineering Department EHS procedures,
standards and policies in Engineering Project area.

Procedures
• Prepare and collate civil Engineering Work Package (EWP)

8. General Facility Officer

➢ Job Summary
• To support IGP Project Services in Sorowako, provide support to all
project team include consultant for all function of facility management
(planning and execution).
• Working effectively refers to the company policies, working safely and
is able to work together with team

➢ Major Accountabilities
• To assist PMO, Project manager, Construction manager in planning
and coordination for facility improvement and construction facility
assets.
• To develop and implement work standard for facility assets
according to project plans.
• To assist in the coordination and preparation also provide regular
reports to Project manager.
• To assist in the initiation and administration of project travel
management and accommodation on site according to the
standard policy.
• To responsible as appointed person for travel bookers in the project
area.
• To provide services of all general facility requests for all project areas.
• To assist in providing necessary reports of facility development,
budget and auditing.
• To facilitate in resolving conflicts among project team, consultant,
contractor and other PTVI departments related to facility operations.
• To verify all progress claim related to facility utilization.
• To responsible to manage regular supplies and services for all
facilities in project area.

construction process.

9. Material Coordinator

➢ Job Summary
• Coordinate processing of Material Requisitions, Work Order and Work
Package (including Bill of Material) for growth projects, to ensure all
material procurement is managed to meet project requirement.
• Working effectively refers to the company policies, working safely and
able to work together with team.

➢ Major Accountabilities
• Prepares and issues regular MR, PO status report, PV report and advises
Project Managers of any anomalies, allowing Project Managers to
track material procurement status.
• Coordinate materials delivery, resolves problems, and arranges
collection or storage, to ensure Project Managers are aware materials
are available as per project requirement.
• Processes approved Material Issue Requisitions (MIR) through ERP
System to allow issue / collection of materials from warehouse stock for
Growth Projects
• Reviews and verifies Bill of Materials for Work Packages, to establish and
advise availability, alternatives or direct purchase requirements.
• Coordinate closure process of PO, WO and MR in parts of project close
out procedure to ensure project closed and no other cost charge to
project account.
• Prepares report of excess materials from closed projects to be reported
to Logistics.

timely manner to support mine progress work, mine planning, exploration
activities, rehabilitation, mining infrastructure and other departmental

To support the Health, Safety, Environment and Risk Implementation and
Improvement at area Senior Manager/Specialist HSER to achieve their
HSER accountabilities in project based / Sorowako Limonite Ore Project,
