Latar Belakang
Peta adalah gambaran permukaan
bumi yang ditampilkan pada suatu
bidang datar dengan skala
Tertentu. Peta biasanya dibuat
dari informasi yang didapatkan
dengan menggunakan Pengindraan
jauh seperti pesawat, satelit,
Kapal dan lain-lain dalam bentuk
foto(gambar) ataupun Non-foto
(sensor elektronik).

 Pengertian Interpretasi Citra Pengindraan Jauh

Menurut KBBI :
Interpretasi Citra Penginderaan Jauh yaitu pemberian kesan, pendapat, atau
tafsiran terhadap beragam objek yang terdapat citra hasil perekaman sebuah wahana
penginderaan jauh.

Menurut Buku :
Interpretasi Peta adalah Menafsirkan Peta untuk menemukan makna dari
fenomena yaitu mengapa di bagian tertentu pada peta terjadi pengelompokkan (pola)

Menurut John E.Estes & David Simonett:

Interpretasi citra penginderaan jauh sebagai perbuatan mengkaji foto udara atau
citra dengan maksud untuk mengidentifikasi objek yang tergambar pada foto udara atau
citra tersebut.

Citra Visual
Interpretasi Visual adalah sebuah kegiatan
menganalisis foto yang dihasilkan dari suatu alat dengan
tujuan untuk mengidentifikasi suatu objek dan peran dari
objek tersebut.

Prinsip utama dalam interpretasi citra yaitu ukuran, bentuk,

bayangan, warna dan rona, tekstur, pola, asosiasi, situasi dan
Konvergensi Bukti. Semua elemen tersebut digunakan oleh
pakar interpretasi citra yang dapat memperkirakan dengan
cepat dan akurat.
1. Rona dan Warna (Tone and Color)
Rona adalah tingkat kegelapan atau
kecerahan objek pada citra. Rona
dibedakan atas 5 tingkat yaitu putih
kelabu putih kelabu Kelabu hitam dan
hitam. karakteristik objek yang
mempengaruhi Rona antara lain
Permukaan yang kasar warna objek
yang gelap dan objek yang basah atau
lembab cenderung menimbulkan Rona
gelap.
