In this chapter we will learn:

TUJUAN PEMBELAJARAN:
Setelah mengikuti proses pembelajaran, peserta didik diharapkan dapat:

1. Mengidentifikasi fungsi sosial, struktur teks, dan unsur

kebahasaan beberapa teks prosedur lisan dan tulis dengan
memberi dan meminta informasi terkait resep makanan/
minuman dan manual, pendek dan sederhana, sesuai
dengan konteks penggunaannya..
2. Membuat resep makanan dan minuman dan manual pendek
dan sederhana dengan rasa rasa ingin tahu, tanggung jawab,
displin selama proses pembelajaran, bersikap jujur, santun,
percaya diri dan pantang menyerah, serta memiliki sikap
responsif (berpikir kritis) dan pro-aktif (kreatif), serta
mampu berkomukasi dengan baik

Procedure Text/Text Prosedur
Definisi
 
Procedure text adalah suatu jenis teks yang
menggambarkan bagaimana sesuatu dapat dibuat atau
digunakan melalui serangkaian langkah – langkah.
 
Fungsi
Procedure text sendiri bertujuan untuk memberi
petunjuk tentang langkah-langkah/ metode/ cara-cara
dalam membuat, mengoperasikan, atau melakukan
sesuatu
2. Struktur teks (generic structure).
Procedure text pada umumnya memiliki struktur teks sebagai
berikut:
Goals/ aim: berisi tujuan kegiatan atau hal yang akan dilakukan
atau dibuat nantinya.

Materials/ tools: berisi bahan-bahan dan terkadang alat-alat

yang dibutuhkan untuk membuat suatu barang/ melakukan
suatu hal. Dalam procedure text, materials bersifat opsional
atau tidak selalu ada.
Steps: serangkaian langkah-langkah atau tips yang harus
dilakukan.
Conclusion/ result: berisi hasil akhir dari apa yang telah
dikerjakan sesuai dengan langkah- langkah yang dilakukan.
3. Unsur kebahasaan.
Procedure text biasanya memiliki unsur kebahasaan sebagai berikut:

Imperative: kalimat-kalimat perintah seperti cut the vegetables, pour the

water, dan lain-lain.

present tense: menggunakan kata kerja bentuk pertama (present),

seperti serve, pour, place, dan lainnya.
Action Verbs: kata kerja yang menunjukkan kegiatan fisik,
misalnya mix, put, turn, dan lain sebagainya.

Connective of sequence: kata penghubung yang menghubungkan langkah

yang satu dengan yang lainnya, seperti then, while, next, after that, dan
lain sebagainya.

Numbering: angka-angka yang menunjukkan urutan kegiatan,

misalnya first, second, third, dan lainnya.
Imperative Sentence
 
Imperative sentence adalah salah satu tipe kalimat (sentence type) yang
dipakai untuk membuat sebuah perintah
(command),permintaan (request), ataupun sebuah petunjuk (direction).
Imperatives ini merupakan sebuah bentuk ungkapan yang digunakan
untuk menyuruh atau memerintah seseorang agar melakukan sesuatu,
memberikan perintah, memberi saran, atau bahkan digunakan untuk
menaewarkan sesuatau kepada orang lain.
Contohnya :
1. Place apple into the plate! (taruh apel di dalam piring!)
2. Stir in sugar and water! (aduk gula dan air!)
3. Rince the rice! (cuci berasnya!)
4. Add the water into the rice!(tambahkan air kedalam beras!)

 How To Make Ice Lemon Tea

Ingredients:
1 bag of Teabag 2 pieces of Lemon Orange 2 tsp of sugar

6 Ice Cubes 50 ml of hot water 150 ml of cold water

 Steps:

Brewed Tea bag in 50 ml of hot water.

Add sugar, and then stir until evenly distributed.

Squeeze the lemon. Then, pour lemon juice into

the tea.

Add ice cubes and add 150 ml of cold water.

Stir until the lemon juice mixes with the tea.

Add lemon slices as decoration.

Ice Lemon Tea is ready to be served.
