ABSTRAK

Kajian ini mengkaji tahap sosioekonomi penduduk Kampung Lubok Mas tahun 1980 sehingga
2006. Antara elemen yang diketengahkan dalam kajian ini ialah perkembangan ekonomi
penduduk kampung selepas tahun 1980. Perkembangan ekonomi ini dipengaruhi oleh dasar
kerajaan selain minat penduduk itu sendiri. Penggubalan dasar-dasar kerajaan seperti Dasar
Ekonomi Baru amat membantu penduduk kampung dalam mengembangkan sektor ekonomi
terutama penduduk yang mengusahakan ladang getah dan kelapa sawit. Selain itu, kajian juga
memperincikan berkenaan pembukaan dan latar belakang masyarakat Kampung Lubok Mas.
Majoriti penduduk Kampung Lubuk Mas berbangsa Melayu dan menganuti agama Islam. Kajian
ini juga membincangkan secara terperinci tentang perkembangan sosial yang berlaku kesan
daripada perkembangan ekonomi dan kaitannya dengan dasar-dasar kerajaan. Reka bentuk kajian
kualitatif digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data kajian. Di samping itu, kaedah lain seperti
pentafsiran dan menganalisis turut diguna pakai. Hal ini adalah bertujuan untuk membuat
tafsiran beberapa dokumen yang terlibat dalam tajuk kajian. Akhir sekali hasil perbincangan ini
akan menjelaskan perkara yang berkaitan dengan perkembangan sosioekonomi dalam tempoh
kajian dan seterusnya memberikan gambaran khusus tentang aspek pembangunan di kampung
tersebut.

ABSTRACT
This is the study of the socio-economic of the villagers in Kampung Lubok Mas from 1980 until
2006. A few elements that are highlighted in this study are the economic development of the
villagers after 1980. This economic development is influenced by the government besides the
villagers interesting themselves. The drafting of the government principle like the new economic
principle really helps the villagers to widen their economic sector especially the villager who
tend to rubber and oil palm industries. Besides that, this study also focused on the opening and
the background of the Kampung Lubuk Mas villagers. A majority of the Kampung Lubuk Mas
villagers were Malays and they follow the Muslim religion. Nevertheless the discussion in this
study is to see the social development that happen from the effect from the social economy and
the relation with the government principles. The used of the qualification method helps to collect
the data like analysis and the interpretation which is also need to create the study. This is to make
an interpretation of a few that was uses in this study. Lastly this discussion will explain a few
matters about the socio-economic development in the duration of this research and give a
specific picture about the aspect of the development in the particular village.
