DESKRIPSI
Internet of Things Competition merupakan sebuah ajang kompetisi yang bertujuan
untuk meningkatkan awareness para developer terhadap perkembangan Internet of Things
di Indonesia. Internet of Things merupakan teknologi yang menggunakan internet sebagai
sarana penghubung antarperangkat sehingga memungkinkan terjadinya integrasi antar
perangkat tersebut. Pada kompetisi ini, peserta diberikan kebebasan untuk berkreasi dan
berinovasi dalam membuat produk Internet of Things sesuai dengan tema kompetisi. Tidak
ada batasan mengenai device atau kit yang akan digunakan oleh peserta.
Dalam pemilihan ide produk, peserta diharapkan dapat memanfaatkan dan
menggunakan Open Data. Open Data adalah data yang bebas digunakan dan disebarluaskan
oleh semua orang. Misalnya, peserta yang memilih kategori Kesehatan dan Sanitasi dapat
mengacu kepada data jumlah dan letak rumah sakit.
Berikut beberapa Data Provider yang sudah bekerjasama dengan CompFest:
1. Portal Data Indonesia (data.id)
Situs data.id adalah portal resmi Open Data Indonesia yang menyediakan
data dalam format yang mudah dicari, diakses serta digunakan.
2. LAPOR! (lapor.ukp.go.id)
LAPOR! (Layanan Aspirasi dan Pengaduan Online Rakyat) adalah sebuah
sarana aspirasi dan pengaduan berbasis media sosial yang mudah diakses dan
terpadu. LAPOR! diinisiasikan oleh Unit Kerja Presiden Bidang Pengawasan
dan Pengendalian Pembangunan (UKP-PPP). Hingga September 2014, LAPOR!
telah digunakan oleh lebih dari 260.000 pengguna dan menerima rata-rata
lebih dari 1.000 laporan per harinya.
3. Data World Bank (data.worldbank.org)
Open Data tentang pembangunan di negara-negara di seluruh dunia
Dengan berpartisipasi dalam kompetisi ini peserta dapat mendukung penggunaan
Open Data serta ide dan prototype yang dihasilkan dapat diaplikasikan guna
mendukung perkembangan Internet of Things di Indonesia.

Berikan solusi untuk menangani masalah pelayanan kesehatan dan sanitasi yang
terintegrasi dengan teknologi untuk tercapainya konsep Smart City di Indonesia
2. Transportasi dan Fasilitas Publik
Temukan solusi untuk mengembangkan sistem transportasi serta fasilitas publik
terkait yang terintegrasi dengan teknologi untuk tercapainya konsep Smart City
di Indonesia
3. Bencana
Kembangkan solusi dalam upaya mitigasi bencana dengan penggunaan teknologi
yang inovatif untuk tercapainya konsep Smart City di Indonesia

Calon peserta melakukan pendaftaran melalui compfest.web.id. Calon peserta harus
memenuhi seluruh persyaratan yang telah ditetapkan dan mengkonfirmasi
keabsahan data yang telah diisi. Beberapa data yang yang wajib disediakan untuk
melakukan pendaftaran diantaranya :

Scan Kartu Tanda Mahasiswa (KTM) atau surat Keterangan dari Universitas

MEKANISME PENILAIAN
1. Penjurian Proposal (Tahap Penyisihan)
Peserta wajib mengumpulkan proposal yang menjelaskan tentang produk yang akan
dibuat. Setiap produk akan mendapatkan nilai 0 100 berdasarkan kriteria yang
tertera di bawah ini

3. Penjurian Final

DESCRIPTION
Internet of Things Competition is a competition with a purpose to increase
developers awareness about the development of Internet of Things in Indonesia. Internet
of Things is a technology which implemented internet as the media to build the connection
among devices, therefore the devices are expected to be integrated with each other. In this
competition, individual or the teams are able to perform innovation and express their
creativity in constructing Internet of Things product. The development tools, kit, framework,
and hardware are entirely up to the participants. Participants are free to use anything they
choose.
In order to decide the idea of product, the participants are expected to utilize Open
Data. Open Data is data that can be freely used, reused, and redistributed by anyone. For
example, the participants with Health & Sanitation category can utilize the data of quantity
and location of hospital.
Here are some of Data Providers that have been colaborating with CompFest7:
1. Portal Data Indonesia (data.id)
Data.id site is an official portal of Open Data Indonesia that provides data with easily
access to find and utilize.
2. LAPOR! (lapor.ukp.go.id)
LAPOR! (Layanan Aspirasi dan Pengaduan Online Rakyat) is the tool to gather any
aspiration and complaint based on social media with ease to access and an
integrated system. LAPOR! was initiated by Unit Kerja Presiden Bidang Pengawasan
dan Pengendalian Pembangunan (UKP-PPP). Until September 2014, LAPOR! has
reached more than 260.000 users and has received more than 1.000 reports per day.
3. World Bank Data (data.worldbank.org)
Free and open access to data about development in any countries around the globe.
By participating in this competition, the participants can support the utilize of Open Data in
Indonesia and hopefully the participants idea and prototype will be able to be applied in
real life and can contribute to the development of Internet of Things in Indonesia

Participants do the registration through http://compfest.web.id/. Registration is
done by the team which consists of maximum 5 members. Participants must meet all
the requirements that have been set and confirm the validity of data that has been
filled. Data that must be filled in the registration are:

Scanned Student Identity Card or confirmation letter from university
certifying that all team members are diploma or undergraduate students

1. Proposal Judging (Elimination Phase)
Each team must submit a proposal that informs about the prototype . Each team will
get the value of 0-100 based on the criteria listed below:
