ABSTRACT
The development of this instrumentation electronics technology has
increased very rapidly. This development is likely to lead to an increase in
working speed optimization, minimization and security. This means that
equipment and electronic components attempted use of materials and sizes are
getting smaller but has the speed and ability of higher employment and security to
not harm workers or other tool. Busyness user to perform continuous control is
also greatly affected. They tend to choose products that perform automatic
operation compared to the product manual manner of operation until it will not
happen that are not desirable. With a background backs in such case we tried to
design a tool "Design of Automatic Pressure Control for charging wind from
the compressor to the storage tank microcontroller-based".
To avoid undesirable events by their over-pressure or low pressure.
Therefore in this study created a tool that serves to avoid something that does not
want it. This device consists of several hardware namely pressure switch sensor,
microcontroller ATmega16, buzzer as the notification indicator and the LCD as a
medium for displaying the result of the detection of a pressure sensor switch.
There are two conditions that are displayed on the LCD, the ON and OFF.
Results obtained from the manufacture of the tool is the pressure sensor
switch detects pressure on the tank, and will issue data signals in the form of a dc
voltage, large - small dc voltage based on the pressure in the tank, the greater the
air pressure in the tank greater dc voltage. Furthermore, the data is converted
from analog to digital by ADC on a microcontroller and will be issued via the
LCD. Based on testing, the tool is capable of detecting the pressure in the tank
from 0 psi to 60 psi. The tank will explode if the pressure> 70 psi. In the tool
hazardous conditions set if the pressure > 60 psi compressor will die this was
done as a detector of the explosion will occur.
