Indeks
keanekaragaman jenis gastropoda tertinggi terdapat di habitat mangrove sebanyak 1.96.
ABSTRACT
Gastropods can be found abundantly in seawater, freshwater or estuary ecosystems. This
study aims to calculate gastropods diversity in the mangrove ecosystem on Bama Beach in
Baluran National Park. Sampling using the line transect method was carried out at Bama
beach at three research stations, namely Mangrove habitat, Brackish Water and Rocks. The
results showed that in Bama Beach, Situbondo Regency, East Java, there were 24 types of
gastropods which were divided into 16 families with 829 individuals. The most abundant
type of gastropods is Terebralia palustris with 227 individuals in brackish water compared to
other habitats. The highest diversity index of gastropod species is found in mangrove habitat
as much as 1.96.
