ABSTRAK
Kemajuan persalinan pada kala 1 merupakan saat yang paling melelahkan dan banyak ibu yang
mulai merasakan sakit atau nyeri yang hebat karena kegiatan uterus yang semakin lama, semakin
kuat dan semakin sering. Durasi lamanya kala 1 sangat dipengaruhi oleh kegiatan dari kontraksi
uterus. Nipple stimulation adalah tindakan sederhana yang dapat meningkatkan kemajuan
persalinan dengan cara memberikan rangsangan kepada puting susu ibu. menstimulasi puting
dapat memicu pelepasan hormon oksitosin dari hipofisis posterior yang menyebabkan kontraksi
uterus menjadi terorganisir.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efek dari Nipple
Stimulation dengan dukungan suami terhadap kemajuan persalinan kala 1 fase aktif di klinik
pertama medika dan BPM Indah Yuliana. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan pra eksperimental
dengan rancangan perbandingan kelompok statis (the static group comparism). Teknik
pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah teknik purposive sampling sebanyak 32 responden
yang terdiri dari 16 responden kelompok intervensi dan 16 responden kelompok kontrol. Teknik
pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi Nipple Stimulation dengan dukungan suami.
Analisa data menggunakan uji Mann Whitney. Hasil penelitian menunjukan perbedaan selisih
waktu pada kelompok intervensi dengan waktu 1:25 menit (80 menit) – 3:25 (205 menit).
Sedangkan pada kelompok yang kontrol selisih waktunya 2:08 (128 menit)- 4 jam (240 menit).
Hasil analisis selanjutnya didapatkan hasil statistic didapatkan nilai signifikasi sebesar 0,001 (p-
value <0,05) sehingga dapat disimpulkan Nipple Stimulation dengan dukungan suami efektif untuk
mempercepat persalinan kala 1 fase aktif. Saran: hasil penelitian ini dapat digunakan sebagai
intervensi sederhana yang dapat digunakan untuk mempercepat kala 1 fase aktif persalinan.

ABSTRACT
Progress in phase 1 is the most tiring time and many mothers start feeling pain or great pain because
of the uterine activity, get longer, stronger and more frequent. The duration of phase1 is greatly
influenced by the activity of uterine contractions. Nipple stimulation is a simple action that can
increase the progress of labor by giving stimulation to the nipple. stimulating the nipple can trigger
the release of the hormone oxytocin from the posterior pituitary which causes the uterine
contractions to become organized. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Nipple
Stimulation with husband's support on the progress of labor during the active phase in the first
medica clinic and BPM Indah Yuliana. This type of research uses pre-experimental with static
group comparison design (the static group comparism). The sampling technique used was
purposive sampling technique as many as 32 respondents consisting of 16 respondents in the
intervention group and 16 respondents in the control group. The data collection technique used the
Nipple Stimulation observation sheet with husband's support. Data analysis using the Mann
Whitney test. The results showed differences in time difference in the intervention group with a
time of 1:25 minutes (80 minutes) - 3:25 (205 minutes). While in the control group the difference
in time is 2:08 (128 minutes) - 4 hours (240 minutes). The results of the subsequent analysis
obtained statistical results obtained a significance value of 0.001 (p-value <0.05) so that it can be
concluded Nipple Stimulation with effective husband's support to accelerate labor when the active
phase. Suggestion: the results of this study can be used as simple interventions that can be used to
accelerate the time of the active phase 1 of labor.
