Demokrasi di Lingkungan

Sekolah

Demokrasi adalah kata yang berasal dai bahasa Yunani yakni demos yang berarti
rakyat dan kratos yang artinya yaitu memerintah. Dan pengertian demokrasi menurut
Abraham Lincoln yaitu pemerintahan yang berasal dari rakyat, untuk rakyat, dan oleh
rakyat. Dan pada pembahasan kali ini akan membahas demokrasi yang ada di
lingkungan sekolah.

Ada banyak kegiatan peristiwa demokrasi yang ada di sekolah, beberapa

penerapannya yaitu seperti pemilihan ketua OSIS, ikut serta dalam kegiatan sekolah,
saling menghargai pendapat teman yang lain dan masih banyak lagi. Dan disini akan
membahas dari tiga topik tersebut.

Pertama yaitu pemilihan ketua OSIS . Pemilihan ketua OSIS diselenggarakan dengan
asas-asas seperti langsung , umum,adil, dan jujur. Para siswa, guru, dan staff SMP
Mardi Rahayu Ungaran juga memilih dengan bebas tanpa ada paksaan dan sesuai
asas yang berlaku , pemilihan ketua OSIS ini terlaksana dengan lancar dan tanpa ada
kendala karena dengan adanya kerjasama para siswa dan guru melaksanakan
demokrasi di sekolah dengan baik.

Kedua yaitu Ikut berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan sekolah. Seperti contohnya yaitu
mengikuti kegiatan Open House yang diselenggarakan pada tanggal 24 Februari
2018, kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mempromosikan sekolah kami kepada para siswa
di Sekolah Dasar yang mungkin tertarik dengan sekolahan kami, kegiatan ini pun
berjalan dengan lancar karena demokrasi yang terjadi di sekolah kami selalu berjalan
dengan baik.

Yang ketiga adalah saling menghargai pendapat guru dan teman yang mungkin
pendapatnya berbeda dengan pendapat yang kita ajukan, tetapi setiap pendapat
apapun itu harus selalu kita hargai dimanapun dan kapanpun demi terlaksananya
demokrasi yang baik bagi kehidupan sehari-hari terutama di sekolah.

 Democracy in School
Environment
Democracy is a word derived from the Greek language, demos meaning people and
kratos which means that is governing. And the notion of democracy according to
Abraham Lincoln is the government that comes from the people, for the people, and
by the people. And in this discussion will discuss about democracy in the school
environment.

There are many activities of democratic events in schools, some of which are like the
election of intra-school students organization
chairman, participating in school activities, respecting the opinions of other friends
and many more. And here will discuss the three topics.

The first is the election of the chairman of intra-school students organization The
election of the head of the intra-school students organizationis organized with
principles such as direct, general, fair and honest. The students, teachers, and staff of
SMP Mardi Rahayu Ungaran also choose freely without any coercion and according to
the prevailing principle, the election of chairman of intra-school students
organization is done smoothly and without any constraint because with the
cooperation of students and teachers implement democracy in school well.

Second is Participate in school activities. For example, following the Open House
event held on February 24th 2018, this activity aims to promote our school to the
students of Elementary School who may be interested in our school, this activity also
helded smoothly because the democracy that happens in our school is always dones
well.

The third is the mutual respect for the opinions of teachers and friends who may
differ in opinion from our opinion, but any opinion should always be appreciated
wherever and whenever for the implementation of good democracy for everyday life,
especially in school.
