GROWTH FACTOR
─ Attempt to predict the number of trips produced (or attracted) by
household or zone as a function of (generally linear) relations to be
defined from available data
▪ what trips to be considered (e.g. only vehicle trips and walking trips longer
than three blocks);
▪ what is the minimum age to be included in the analysis (i.e. five years or
older).
─ Basic Equation to predict the future number of journeys

Ti and ti are respectively future and current trips in zone i, and Fi is a

growth factor

𝑇 𝑖 = Perkiraan jumlah trip (trip production atau trip attraction)
𝐹𝑖 = Faktor pertumbuhan
𝑡𝑖 = Jumlah trip eksisting (trip production atau trip attraction)

Method ini memiliki karakteristik:

✓ Sangat simpel
✓ Membutuhkan data tahun dasar dan faktor ekspansi yang dapat diandalkan untuk
semua zona
✓ Tidak sensitif terhadap perubahan kebijakan

Trip Rate Method

P 𝑖 = σ𝑖 𝑇𝑐 × 𝐻𝑐 ; dimana
P 𝑖 = Perkiraan jumlah trip (trip production atau trip attraction)
𝑇𝑐 = Rata-rata bangkitan pergerakan perkeluarga pada kategori c
𝐻𝑐 = Jumlah keluarga dengan kategori c dan berlokasi pada zona i

Method ini memiliki karakteristik:

✓ Bentuk sederhana, model menghitung trip rates, misalnya jumlah trip pada peak hour/household
✓ Asumsi : trip rates konstan sepanjang waktu
✓ Mengabaikan perubahan pada pembangkit pergerakan dan perubahan kebijaksanaan
✓ Model yang populer: “cross clasification’ atau ‘category analysis’ (Wooton dan Pick, 1960)
