WAHYUNI : HUBUNGAN TINGKAT STRESS PASIEN ULKUS DIABETIK DENGAN FASE

PENYEMBUHAN LUKA DI RSUD LABUANG BAJI MAKASSAR.

Latar belakang: Ulkus diabetik merupakan salah satu komplikasi kronik Diabetes Mellitus
berupa luka terbuka pada permukaan kulit yang dapat disertai adanya kematian jaringan setempat.
ulkus diabetik memberi dampak luar biasa kepada penderitannya. Selain amputasi, infeksi yang terjadi
seringkali mengharuskan penderita dirawat inap dalam waktu yang lebih lama dibandingkan
komplikasi DM lainnya.
Tujuan : Diketahuinya hubungan tingkat stress pasien ulkus diabetik dengan fase
penyembuhan luka di RSUD Labuang Baji Makassar.
Desain penelitian : Desain pnelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah cross
secsional study, yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat stress pasien ulkus diabetik
dengan fase penyembuhan luka di RSUD Labuang Baji Makassar. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah
pasien ulkus diabetik yang mendapat pengobatan di RSUD Labuang Baji Makassar pada bulan
Desember tahun 2016 yang berjumlah 55 orang. Penentuan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan
rumus Slovin dan menggunakan metode nonprobability sampling. Pengukuran tingkat stress
menggunakan kuesioner yang terdiri dari 10 pertanyaan dengan menggunakan Depression Anxiety
Stress Scale 24 (DASS 42) dan di modifikasi berdasarkan teori tentang gejala-gejala stress menurut
British F. H, (2014) dan lembar observasi tentang penyembuhan luka pada pasien ulkus diabetik ini
berdasarkan teori fase penyembuhan luka yang telah di modofikasi dari sumber Torwoto et al, (2011).
Hasil : Hasil analisis data berdasarkan chi-square diperoleh nilai p = 0,011 < a = 0,05 artinya
ada hubungan tingkat stress pasien ulkus diabetik dengan fase penyembuhan luka.
Kesimpulan : Tingkat stress yang ringan dapat mempercepat proses penyembuhan luka.

Background : Peptic diabetic is one of Diabetes Mellitus chronic complication in the form of
an open wound on the surface of the skin that can be accompanied by the existence of the death of the
local network. Peptic diabetic give great impact to penderitannya, besides the amputation,
infection occurs often require forcibly hospitalized patients in a longer time compared to other DM
complications.
Aim : The objective of this study was to analyze the relationship stress level patients diabetic
ulcer with wound healing phase at Labuang Baji Hospital.
Method : The research design used in this study was a cross sectional study, which aims to
know the relation stress level patients diabetic ulcer with wound healing phase at Labuang Baji
Hospital Makassar. The population in this research is that the patients peptic diabetic treated at
Labuang Baji Hospital Makassar in December 2016 which numbered 55 people. The estimation of
sample was based on the formula specifically used for slovin and using nonprobability sampling. stress
level was measured by using kuesioner consist for 10 questions by using Depression Anxiety Stress
Scale 24 (DASS 42) and modified based on the theory of stress symptoms by British F. H, (2014) and
the observation sheets on wound healing in patients with diabetic ulcers is based on the theory phase of
wound healing which has been in the modification of the source Torwoto et al, (2011). in which data
dependent and independent variables were collected simultaneously or at the same time are then
analyzed to answer the research hypothesis.
Result : Data analysis results based on chi-square obtained the value p = 0,011 < a = 0,05
means there is a relation stress level patients diabetic ulcer with wound healing phase.
Conclusion : These data suggested that level of mild stress can accelerate the wound
healing process.
