You are going to read a blog about a fishing experience.Six sentences have been removed from the article. Choose

MY FIRST FISHING EXPERIENCE

I have often wondered why people love fishing so much. I feel that it is such a waste of time doing
nothing while waiting for the fish to bite. They also spend a lot of money on fishing rods and baits. Some pay
for boats and fishing guides to go out on trips at sea. As I have never been an outdoor person, activities like
fishing, trekking or camping do not interest me at all.

Then one day, I changed my mind about fishing. I was spending the school holiday at my uncle’s house in
Lumut. 25. There was nothing else to do so I just agreed. I thought I could but some anchovies or
dried fish to take home to my mother.

Little that I know what awaited me that day. 26. When we arrived at the jetty, we were to get
on board straight away. It was a small boat with roof and a few seats. The boat left the jetty towards our fishing
destination. There was only sea water surrounding us as far as the eyes could see before the boat stopped at a
beautiful spot.

I have never done fishing in my life before. 27. While waiting we talked about everything.
Then my cousin reeled in quite a big fish. He was very excited looking at the fish dangling at the end of the
rod. I was getting frustrated.
28. Uncle Sam told me not to worry. He said, “Just relax. Enjoy the
beautiful view. You won’t find it at any other place.” Suddenly I felt a tug at the end of my line and shouted
excitedly. Uncle Sam came to help me and together we pulled in 29
the fish . I felt so excited.

After about three hours, we were ready to go back. I learned about fishing which was a great learning
exposure and the scenery was amazing. 30.
