 It was recess time. Arif and his friends decided to take a rest under the trees in the
field. They found a beautiful spot under a big shady tree.

      As they were enjoying their food, they heard a hissing sound. They looked around
at once and were bolted from the blue to see a big black snake on the tree. It was
gliding down.

      They quickly ran back to the canteen and informed the teacher on duty for that
week. The teacher and a gardener went to the tree and caught the snake. They put it in
a sack and decided to send it to the zoo.

      Arif and his friends thanked their teacher and Pakcik Abu for their help. Since that
day, they were more careful when they went to the field to play or to rest.

Bangi, Sunday - An eight-year-old boy handed over his piggy bank to charity yesterday
because of a report in a newspaper which was read to him.

       The year two pupil, Naim, of  SK Beranang was willing to give away his saving of
RM250.50 to someone who really needed it. The person whom he wanted to donate is
Puan Najiha a retired clerk. She needs RM100,000.00 to have a heart surgery in Kuala
Lumpur. She was on the front page of newspaper two days ago. Puan Najiha has a
serious heart problem and she needs the surgery immediately. Her husband, who is a
teacher, advertised the sad news and requested the public for help.

       Now, Naim will not be able to buy his favourite toy car anymore. "That aunty needs
the money because she is sick. I want to save her life. I can save up again and will buy
my toy car some other time," said the boy happily.
