We pray to Allah. He made everything on this earth. Allah made all the people. He made all

the animals, birds, and fish. He made the dust and the big hills. Allah made the sun, the

moon and all the starts. Allah made all of us. He is our Creator. He is all-powerful. We pray

to the One and Only Allah.

Allah is not a man. Allah is not a woman. Allah has no shape. He does not have a body like

us. We cannot see Allah, but He can see us. Allah is not like us. Allah is One.

Human Translation

Kita berdoa kepada Allah. Dia mencipta segalanya di atas bumi ini. Allah mencipta semua

manusia. Dia mencipta semua haiwan, burung dan ikan. Dia mencipta habuk dan gunung

yang besar. Allah mencipta matahari, bulan dan kesemua bintang. Allah mencipta kita

semua. Dia adalah pencipta kita. Dia adalah maha berkuasa. Kita berdoa kepada satu-

satuNya Allah.

Allah bukanlah lelaki. Allah bukanlah perempuan. Allah tidak ada bentuk rupa. Dia tidak

mempunyai tubuh badan seperti kita. Kita tidak boleh melihat Allah tetapi Dia boleh melihat

kita. Allah bukanlah seperti kita. Allah adalah Satu.

Machine Translation
Kita berdoa kepada Allah. Dia menjadikan segala-galanya di muka bumi ini. Allah

menjadikan semua manusia. Dia menjadikan semua binatang, burung, dan ikan. Dia

membuat debu dan bukit-bukit besar. Allah menjadikan matahari, bulan dan segala

permulaan. Allah menjadikan kita semua. Dia adalah Pencipta kita. Dia maha kuasa. Kita

berdoa kepada Allah Yang Maha Esa.

Allah bukan lelaki. Allah bukan perempuan. Allah tidak mempunyai bentuk. Dia tidak

mempunyai tubuh seperti kita. Kita tidak dapat melihat Allah, tetapi Dia dapat melihat kita.

Allah tidak seperti kita. Allah adalah Satu.

Discussion:

In this text we could clearly the difference between human translation and machine

translation. Referring to text ‘He made the dust and the big hills’ with Human translation the

word dust is translated into habuk while in machine translation the word is translated into

debu.

Referring to the text ‘Allah is not a man. Allah is not a woman.’ If these words are translated

with machine translation the text would be ‘Allah bukan lelaki. Allah bukan perempuan.’

However, the words are slightly different with human translation, ‘Allah bukanlah lelaki. Allah

bukanlah perempuan’ Human translation added the word ‘lah’ for more naturalization when

translated into Malay.

Technical Text
Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a developmental disability caused by differences in the

brain. People with ASD often have problems with social communication and interaction, and

restricted or repetitive behaviors or interests. People with ASD may also have different ways

of learning, moving, or paying attention.

Human Translation

Gangguan spektrum autism (ASD) adalah ketidakupayaan perkembangan yang disebabkan

oleh perbezaan di dalam otak. Orang autism selalunya mempunyai masalah untuk

berkomunikasi dan berinteraksi sosial, dan juga mempunyai tingkah laku yang terhad atau

berulang. Orang yang mempunyai ASD juga mungkin mempunyai cara pembelajaran,

pergerakan atau daya tumpuan yang berbeza.

Machine Translation

Gangguan spektrum autisme (ASD) adalah ketidakupayaan perkembangan yang

disebabkan oleh perbezaan dalam otak. Orang yang mempunyai ASD sering mengalami

masalah dengan komunikasi dan interaksi sosial, dan tingkah laku atau minat yang terhad

atau berulang. Orang yang mempunyai ASD juga mungkin mempunyai cara belajar,

bergerak atau memberi perhatian yang berbeza.

Discussion:

Machine translation is a raw translation of text that belong to certain fields of knowledge and

that, after a revision can produce a high-quality translation. However, human translation can

interpret context and capture the same meaning. For example, interpret idioms, metaphor

etc.

In this text we could clearly the difference between human translation and machine

translation. Referring to text ‘He made the dust and the big hills’ with Human translation the

word dust is translated into habuk while in machine translation the word is translated into

However, for technical text, machine translation do much better translating than human as

there are phrase that is specifically for that technical text. For example, the word ‘often’ when

translated into Malay using human translation the word would be ‘selalunya’ However,

machine translation translated it to be ‘sering’. The word ‘ sering is more accurate as it is use

in much more formal context.
