Abstrak:Telepon seluler akan sekaligus memancarkan dan menerima gelombang serta mengirim
gelombang kepada telepon seluler melalui menara Base Transceiver Station (BTS). Penelitian ini
bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui kelayakan BTS melalui parameter yang dapat digunakan untuk
penentuan lokasi pembuatan BTS referensi di wilayah Kabupaten Konawe Kepulauan; (2) mengetahui
lokasi referensi yang sesuai untuk pengembangan BTS yang baru di Kabupaten Konawe Kepulauan.
Penelitian ini mengunakan metode analisis Line of Siht (LoS) dan analisis kesesuaian fungsi kawasan.
Hasil penelitian ini adalah: (1) Pada tiga titik lokasi koordinat, berdasarkan analisis LoS dengan
ketinggian yang diberikan, terdapat penghalanggaris sehingga dapat dikategorikan kurang sesuai,
sedangkan berdasarkan analisis kesesuaian fungsi kawasan lindung dan fungsi kawasan budidaya, tiga
lokasi tersebut sudah sesuai. (2) Lokasi referensi yang sesuai berdasarkan fungsi kawasan di Kabupaten
Konawe Kepulauan, yaitu: SMAN 01 Wawonii Tenggara, Puskesmas Lampeapi, Desa Lameluo.

Abstract: Cellphones will simultaneously transmit and receive waves as well as send waves to cell
phones via Base Transceiver Station (BTS) towers. This research aims To: (1) find out the feasibility of
BTS through parameters that can be used to determine the location for making reference BTS in the
Konawe Kepulauan Regency; (2) find out the appropriate reference locations for the development of new
BTS in the Konawe Kepulauan Regency. Data in this study are analized by using Line of Sight (LoS)
method and the suitability analysis of area functions. The results of this study are: (1) At the three
coordinate location points, based on the LoS analysis with the given height, there are line barriers so that
they can be categorized as unsuitable, while based on the analysis of the suitability of the function of
protected areas and cultivation area functions, the three locations are suitable. (2) The appropriate
reference locations based on the function of the area in the Konawe Islands Regency, namely: SMAN 01
Wawonii Tenggara, Lampeapi Health Center, and Lameluo Village.
